Kind of like variance, eh?

Not sure what you mean by "experiences with the manipulation of the deal." Does that mean virtual card decks on these sites are rigged?

I am really enjoying your recent use of the term "good judgement" for comedy effect. Keep it up.

There used to be a million idiots making threads about poker being rigged with no evidence whatsoever and it cluttered up the forums. It was the same story over and over again. Dumb person makes dumb thread, gets deservedly flamed. Rinse, repeat. Now they all just get merged into this one to save everyone from having to wade through it.

Since these posts/threads never go away this thread just continues to pile up posts and will until the end of time.

Pretty much. There are some pretty solid comedy nuggets, however, if you are willing to sift through the garbage.

Well I have a four day weekend starting now. With no Dexter, Californication, or EB & Down a 12er and a little quality time with this thread might be a good idea..

blatantlyrigged - just curious if you've posted an EV/Winnings graph or something along those lines to support your case.

He actually has posted in this thread under multiple user names (some of which were banned), so he has about 1000 posts+ as well, and ironically many were to shill for some silly youtube videos.

Don't try to take him seriously or ask any questions, he is just a guy who could not win who is yelling a lot out of frustration. He has yet to show any user names or play history, but if he did it would all be freeroll and buck games at most, which is the buy in level for nearly every riggie in the thread.

This thread gives him a sense of identity and purpose, nothing more. He will never prove anything he claims. The unfortunate thing with his Wikilike approach to the thread is that he scares away and distracts others from some of the more fun genuinely paranoid riggies and their crazy theories.

If you dig through the thread you will see these theories and more:

Superbots

Russian Mafia

Lizard People

Laptops cause bad beats

Entropy effect

Country based rigging

L+D theory

"Semi-rigged"

These are the guys we should nurture as they are fun to chat with, so just like all riggies should put Wiki on ignore, all shills should put blatantdude on ignore ( I have at this point) as they both take away from the enjoyment of the thread.

so, lets see now, we have shills, affiliates, poker site promoters, poker trainers, wiki(whatever the **** that is), ignorant dreamers and a few people with enough common sense from personal experience to realize the deal is manipulated in OLP.
What did I leave out?

Bad beats are part of the game. I understand that. But after absorbing more than my fair share on Full Tilt I switched to Pokerstars six months ago. The first few months were much better over on Pokerstars.

Now Pokerstars is worse than Full Tilt ever was. The past month has been brutal. Tonight I've had pocket aces six times. All six times I lost to someone with a lower pocket pair.

I can't tell you how many times (at least 100 times the past thee weeks) where someone needs one card, especially two or three hours into a tournament, and they hit when odds are 90 to 95% in my favor.

You tell yourself that's poker until it happens time after time after time.

I enjoy playing poker online but I'm about ready to give it up. There doesn't seem to be a site to where it plays out like a casino. You see bad beats in a casino but NOTHING like Full Tilt and Poker Stars back when I played over on that site.

Curious as to others observations. Is there a site that's on the up and up or is it time to retire from online poker where you start to get the feeling the deck literally is stacked against you?

What hands did you play and win to get you 3 hours into a tournament?
What was your EV overall for the whole torunament?
Have you got any actual data to illustrate the brutality of your bad run?

Usually people who say the site is rigged cite examples where there QQ lost to A5 or something. No one ever says I played the 57 flopped two pairs and lost to QQ. They consider a bad beat getting a premium hand cracked.
So I figure they don't know what they are talking about.

Don't you see!?!

They don't charge rake, but they do make the tournaments last longer, which...wait.

True, no rake made, but it does reduce your balance, and if you dont come into the money........
If you are in the red at the time, the site has accomplished their goal.
