Are you a really slow at typing? It takes a few seconds to post here. Not a significant part of anyone's day.

Using your logic you should visit these threads and look at all the government shills who post in them.

All this thread ever was is a "conspiracy light" debate, nothing more.

When the US is properly regulated with the land based casinos having their rooms all that will happen in this thread is that the same riggies/gimmicks and new ones will still say it is rigged for all the reasons they have said may times before, many of which directly contradict each other.

At that time some of the same "shills" and others will have fun debating them to continue this tame version of a 9/11 debate.

Youre contradicting yourself. You dont think its rigged, but say its unnecessary for all the shills and employess to be in here. Why do you think they spend so much time in here? Its because they already know the deal is
manipulated, and will lie as much as they have to to sway people into thinking different.

Worse players wont change anything about ppl thinking the game is rigged. Its always been pretty universal that the most popular sites attract "rig" accusations from the bottom of the barrel.

In fact, I think the rig accusations were more common and more commonly accepted back in the days when party was #1... Even though the games were silly soft... though to be fair the idea of the sites being rigged was a lot more feasible back then.

Funny you say that. If you go back a few pages, i have a post about a discussion i had with a support person at Party Poker years ago. He told me in so many words it was rigged, done in order to give everyone a fair chance. Why would you think it is any different now?

Bring that up in their next annual meeting as they are a publicly traded company and no doubt that revelation will bring them down on the spot, since if you cannot trust a gimmick with an undocumented claim about a discussion with a base level, minimum wage support person that took place half a decade ago - then what can you trust? Maybe do a youtube video about the experience.

I do like that you did call the guy who made fun of shills a shill as well in effect. Maybe that will help him better understand what this thread is really about.

This was my only post ever directed at you as I tend to ignore the obviously silly gimmicks, so enjoy that experience for what it is worth.

With your admitted financial ties to rigged online poker, which is obviously the reason you live in here to sway peoples good judgment, that was the best b.s. you could come up with?

I believe that there are set up hands in order to maximize rake, but that doesn't bother me, bc over the long run I will have had the same amount of setup hands in my favor as I did to my detriment.

So-called "set up hands" minimise rake, not maximise it.

A gambler and confidence man, William “Canada Bill” Jones plied his trade along the Mississippi River in the middle of the 19th century. According to his partner, Jones “had a squeaking, boyish voice, and awkward gawky manners, and a way of asking fool questions and putting on a good natured sort of grin, that led everybody to believe that he was the rankest kind of sucker—the greenest sort of country jake.” In truth, he was a card cheat of remarkable dexterity who routinely cleaned out the sophisticates in games of three-card monte. But he never managed to hold on to his winnings. After conning a new victim, Jones would gamble away his money at faro, usually in crooked games run by other hustlers. Once, a friend tried to pry him away, warning him that the game was rigged. “I know it,” Jones reputedly answered, “but it’s the only game in town.”

There are no government agencies anywhere with the power or the interest to punish online poker sites. Governments are only interested in the flow of money, not in the accuracy or integrity of the sites. Who, exactly, is keeping tabs on them?

How many people would stop playing online if wrongdoing were exposed? Did people stop playing after the UB scandal?

There are no agreed upon tests or measures that can be used to allay fears or expose wrongdoing. I don't mean a list of bad beats or hand histories. What would really satisfy the majority of people?

What would happen if the sites only pulled the wool over the less experienced players eyes and left the serious players alone? Who's going to listen to a bad player whining about losing? Do you care if the newbies at the $.01 table or the $0.25 tourney are being hustled?

I don't know if the online sites are rigged or not but they are unregulated, ungoverned (except for how they transfer their money, no oversight of their day-to-day operations), their users are divided as to how to evaluate their accuracy and nobody would stop playing regardless. If you were a online poker site, what would you do?

From my experience working with derivatives on Wall Street, there is a need to know if something is going on. Nobody has this kind of freedom and this kind of loyal, unquestioning customer base without doing something really evil. I saw things being done on Wall Street that were very sophisticated and hard to detect, even if you had the data and even if you kinda knew what we were doing you still couldn't prove it or we could make an argument that could shut you up.
