I'm mainly into catching scammers. It's really fun. Cool thing is, I gather evidence then act on it. I really like that method in general.

Most people work boring jobs and you could make $ relatively quickly if you were a superuser, it wouldnt be like you have to grind 12 hrs per day just an hour or two and win a few key hands and make a few key folds.
lol, and then we would have a superuser who plays the medium stakes but never loses......... I'm sure someone will catch on when you haven't had a negative session in the past 14 months.

I'm sure he'd throw in a few losing sessions. Sooper was saying he's learned from NioNio's mistakes.

But let's not make this a "How-To" thread on Superusing, huh?

You'll never find much that way.

Best to simply alight on a couple of suspicious posts and announce that they must be the work of scammers.

If anyone objects, just call them a shill.

Simple!

I love how when Spadebidder posts solid evidence that the RNG is random, Sooper decides to shift his focus to super users.

Thats not what I mean. I posted earlier that it would be a good idea to lose $ to regulars who obv have a database but it wouldnt really matter if you come across players who you ve never played before.

It wasnt me who brought up superusers. For the record I still believe there s a flaw with the RNG particularly on Stars and Party.

Re: The great "Poker is rigged debate" - Collected threads edition

Being a Bachelor in Statistics I have a very simple explanation as to why tournament's may seem rigged.

Let's say, for example, that you are doing fairly well in a tournament and gain chips in a few crucial spots. You got your money in ahead and won. In any given hand your percentages for winning are fairly obvious. But your chances of winning a big tournament are very slim even if you get your money in good every single time.

Let's say you get your money in good every single time and your percentage to win is 80%. This is very generous and is highly unlikely your percnetage will be this high every time.

% to win 1 allin hand = 80%
% to win 2 allin hands = 64%
% to win 3 allin hands = 51.2%
% to win 4 allin hands = 40.9%
% to win 5 allin hands = 32.7%
...
% to win 15 allin hands = 3.5%

If you're in a tournament with 300+ people and are involved in 15 large pots throughout you have a 3.5% chance to win the tournament if you were an 80% favorite to win. There isn't even any need to account for skill because once you call an allin or are allin yourself only the math matters.

If your percentage to win drops even to 70% in the same situation after 15 hands you'll win the tournament 0.47% of the time.

It's not rigged. It's just mathematics

I agree. Much more entertaining than the people who think it's rigged and don't post evidence.

Okey doke. What, specifically, is the flaw?

Boomswitches or Initial Luck, Doomswitch, Protection of **** players, Small stacks in tourneys gifted to large stacks, action flops. The RNG reacts accordingly.

A hardware RNG is a stochastic system that feeds random events into a counter, the low order bits of which are used to provide the random number.

It is utterly incapable of responding to some abstract effect generated in the equipment to which it is connected.

Even if a site were to be rigging the deal they would have to do it in isolation from the RNG.

You just look like a complete idiot ascribing behaviour to a device that is completely incapable of such behaviour. Not that that's likely to worry you.

I never said you brought up super users, I said you have shifted your focus to them.

Still waiting on any solid evidence you can bring to the table regarding the RNG's. Or was that you that thought evidence was overrated?

The RLG (Random Life Generator) is rigged at conception. Obv, famous movie stars and extremely wealthy people are superusers as well.
