I posted it in BBV if you can find it.
Yea this hand would certainly compare.

They both slowplayed all the way to the river? Really? lol? Serves them right, shame it was only 25NL.

Usually a BBJ will be 2 players.
Ok, so it's an extremely rare event. That does not make it impossible.

Took a few minutes, but I found it in the archives. I got a couple of the details wrong but it's pretty much the same.

Ummmm...whenever a bad beat is won at the VERY least is has to be quads over quads. This happens in Brick and Mortars around the world daily.

EDIT: Noticed spadebidder posted something similar a few minutes ago. Markus, where do I get a new pony?

you know the turn could've been a brick and the boat still would've beat the flush. as far as having seen something like that, yeah, I see flushes lose to full houses about every day.

edit: I see the 55 guy hit quads too. that's unusual, but I don't see this often. do you? if you see it once, it's remarkable. frequently, that's another story. please let us know if it comes up again.
Whats the point in saying boats beat flushes, of course they do Boats and flushes will get into it all day every day at all limits but this hand is both hitting quads with only turn and river to come.

I think seeing this once is remarkable and I m just wondering if anyone can produce a hand that beats this one.

Exactly. It would actually be an argument in favor of rigging if it never happened.

Cool 200$ pot not bad. I did believe you mate you didnt need to fish it out. I ve beaten quads myself with a str8 flush 2h5h vs 3 3 on a Ah 3h 3 4h 4 board but only at 25NL.

the point was the guy w/JJ hit a boat, which is still better than the flush, so the 4th J was moot. then I saw (and clearly labeled my new words as "edited") the 55 guy hit quads as well and said that it was more unusual than I originally gave it credit for.

what, in your opinion, would "beat" that one? the guy w/quads losing to a royal at last years WSOP ME? Or do we need 3 players to showdown?

you can comb BBV for stuff like that, but the fact that you won't find many probably says more about it NOT being rigged than anything else.

Yea thanks Evidence boy Im aware of the BBJ rules, though a lot of B&M have lesser requirements like Aces full of tens getting beat and up.

How many of those quad vs quad beats will involve a non floped quads hand and better yet involve a floped nut flush and then have 2 sets of quads by the river? Probably wont even happen yearly in B&M casinos.

The jacks never boated up but never mind.

Maybe if someone floped a str8 or Royal flush and then 2 guys hit quads on turn and river. Yea Im looking for an unusual 3 way. I understand that 2 way incredible beats are common.

Of course that type of hand is going to occur every once in a while but still just because an event has a probabilty of almost never occuring doesnt mean that it has to happen at some point.

If I played the lottery forever it isnt certain that I would eventually win it (assuming everyone was immortal and we could play until the end of time).

if the lottery ran as often as hands are dealt (online or in a casino) your chances would be significantly better.

Ever deal with limits? Play an infinite number of lottery games and you will win, eventually.

Sooper...if you could play the lottery forever and we agreed that it was completely random, you would indeed win it eventually. In lotteries where you need to pick 6 out of 6 digits correct from numbers 1-49 the odds of winning are 1 in 13,983,816.

So if you play 13,983,816 lotteries there is a good chance you will win it. Of course you may not in that time, but if you played it another hundred million times the odds of you NOT winning it would be VERY VERY low...and you would win it eventually. If you didn't then it would be a good case for it being "rigged".

Understand?

You're being childish now. Are you going to change your parameters every time I find an example for you?

But 2nd nut flush < nut flush < straight flush, that don't mean nothin', huh?

If you really think it's a fact there won't be a showdown like the one you've already admitted isn't evidence of any sort at any B&M cardroom in a full calendar year then you don't have the grasp of statistics you've previously claimed.

But even if there isn't, there could be 3 next year, so what does that say?

Crazy as this may sound, my theory is that if it is rigged then the sites may choose to actually avoid the extreme seen it once a year type hands that everyone will remember and talk about when they do their rigging.

Kind of like how car thieves tend to avoid the cars filled with cops carrying machine guns when choosing their targets.

People really need to stick to better rigged theory selection.
