monteroy you are a idiot.
Hard to see why you may not have the patience and thinking process to win at long MTTs or poker in general.

Perhaps if you post a few more times we can get a better idea on that.

Hi guys,

Ive made a study of me playing on Pokerstars and FTPoker during these last 2 weeks...

I have played about 10.000 hands on each of them in FL 0,5-1
Ive used the same strategy, my same way of playing, same tools (pokertracker 3) but the results were really different.

Ive done it this way: Play 1000 hands on FT then 1000 hands in Pokerstars, then 1000 in FT again...

Well, in FT poker ive won an average winrate of 1,7BB /100 hands.

In the other hand, in Pokerstars I had lost 1BB/100 hands

Well, so what are the conclusions?

1) Pokerstars players got more level (I dont think so, Ive used table selection methods and fishes are fishes everywhere).
2) I had "bad luck": Well I was bad beaten once and once again in Pokerstars, it looks that the bad hands always win there.
I was bad beaten at least 10 times more in Pokerstars than in FTP.

So this... it makes me wonder... , is the "luck" determinated by the Pokersites???

is pokerstars...rigged?

[ ] determinated is a real word

edit: apparently so

1. determinated

To be determined but to a greater extent.

Gatsby was determinated to get Daisy back.

I would support your theory; however, you never mentioned UB or AB.

OP, while I respect the fact you have made at least an attempt to come up with some real numbers, the sample size you have is much too small to determine much of anything related to an unfair deal (unless it was just craaaazzy off, like you got dealt AA 2000 times out of the 10,000). As I'm sure this thread will be merged into the larger "rigged" thread, I'd suggest taking a look through it.

Try to remember that our memory is fallible and the best way to check if a deal is unfair is to look at the stats within large samples. There is a poster in the other thread (Spadebidder) that is working on a sample size of 500 million hands I believe. That sample size is more likely to yield more accurate results.

Its hard to argue with your logic old_moose. Merge to the rigtard thread.

If you play 100x the sample size and get the same results then congratulations, you found out which site is harder.

Don't be too hard on OP; at least he tried some kind of statistical analysis, even if it is horribly flawed.

In after (I) merge(d).

Now Full Tilt is worse than Poker Stars ever was. The past month has been brutal. Tonight I've had pocket aces six times. All six times I lost to someone with a lower pocket pair.

I can't tell you how many times (at least 100 times the past thee weeks) where someone needs one card, especially two or three hours into a tournament, and they hit when odds are 90 to 95% in my favor.

You tell yourself that's poker until it happens time after time after time.

I enjoy playing poker online but I'm about ready to give it up. There doesn't seem to be a site to where it plays out like a casino. You see bad beats in a casino but NOTHING like Full Tilt and Poker Stars back when I played over on that site.

Curious as to others observations. Is there a site that's on the up and up or is it time to retire from online poker where you start to get the feeling the deck literally is stacked against you?
Did no one tell you its rigged. Check the terms and conditions

Yeah, but to be fair, all the rigtards share the credit. His just happened to be the thread we chose to merge another with one day, and the rest is history!

I would love to see the stats for 500 million hands, especially odds after the flop versus the result, for different poker sites.
