--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At some point people need to realize that poker is a flawed game...particularly online poker. The only way not to be certain of being cheated is to play heads up live with the certainty of not having marked cards or video cameras working against you. Other than that, you are constantly at the mercy of being relieved of your funds at all times.

When the highest levels of societal trust have been proven to be theives and liars (Presidents, Priests, Policeman, Banks, Wall Street...even Teachers), then you need to quickly realize that the odds of you getting scammed in poker with regularity are extremely high.

Now I ask you, would any of you shoot dice over the phone with any online poker site where you relied on them to tell you what the results of the throws were...all over the phone? Would you shoot dice over the phone with ANY well-known poker player where they had the dice and you relied on them to tell you if you won or not?

Well guess what? By playing online poker you are making the assumption that the site is honest. If you would not trust the site shooting dice over the phone, then how can you trust them to not cheat you in poker.....when they control the whole game. Likewise, in live poker, even the biggest games are full of fraud, as the name of the game is to attract legitimate businessmen's money and relieve them of it......do you think for one moment that you would have a chance against those guys who have been taking people's money for decades?

Yes, of course you are being scammed. And you have nobody but yourself to blame. Russ Hamiltion is laughing at you, and so is Phil Hellmuth with his idiotic entrance to the World Series this year.....these people are laughing all the way to the bank! And at your expense.

They know that you cannot and will not do a single thing. They love it, and the show must go on. There is no shame at the upper end of the game, either. Not a single one of these big name pros risked anything to take down the cheaters. After all, they need to make money, and you can't prove Russ Hamilton or anyone else was involved, can you, suckers?

Well, even if you can prove it, you have already proved that you will absolutely do NOTHING about it. Taking silly hidden cell-phone pics of major fraudsters playing poker or golf just makes you all look bad.

Wanna shoot some dice?
Awesome post.

We believe that the sites are probably not rigged because there is not one shred of credible evidence that they are.

Any disinterested party will natuarally tend to think that one of those views is more intelligent, logical, and resonable.

Can you guess which one?

DUCY?

As you clearly believe that the sites rig the deal can you come up with a rational, coherent, reason why it is stupid to ask people how often they believe that their hands have been rigged?

Have a very careful think before replying.
Interestingly, the same people show up in these threads to ceaselessly insult anyone who even ponders the legitimacy of any online poker site.

Could they be, dare i say the word, shills ?

AP and UB did not rig the deal.

Do try and learn just a little bit about subjects on which you wish to discourse.

This isn't actually true.

People can ponder the legitimacy of OLP sites.

The type of people who get insulted are, primarily:

1) People who make dogmatic statements with no evidence.

2) People who repeatedly make allegations and/or ask questions and when these allegations are refuted or the questions answered do not debate in a logical manner but either ignore the refutation/answer and just repeat the allegation or accuse their respondant of being a shill.

Knowing Ipoker I think there is a non-zero chance this is real. Ipoker skins gets fined if their players' total withdrawals exceed their total deposits... strange but true.

It was beaten into submission by the vastly superior one that you see at the head of every page in this thread.

Do people think that some Online Poker Sites have a rigged deal?

Mods if you are going to move this to the "Great" thread then at least leave the poll!

Interesting double standars at 2+2.

qpw can insult everyone and say whatever he wants. Anyone doing the same gets banned/warnings etc.

qpw can post a nonsense poll yet I post a straightforward yes/no rigged poll and get s deleted.

Text is copied/pasted from the original email. I saw the error but didn't intervene in that guy's grammar.

Do you report him when he makes "harassment, fighting, or rude" posts? I sure do when I see people do that and I don't like that person's post. The mods don't have time to read every single post on this huge forum. And how do you know that he hasn't gotten warnings or been (temp)banned?

I might be wrong but I think there can only be one poll per thread because of a forum limitation. And I'm guessing qpw's was first?

It's almost like you can say anything in defense of stars and tilt but if you say one thing against them it's as if these guys have carte blanche to call you names. Almost as if they are paid shills.

I wonder if stars and tilt employ people to insult those who dont trust them.

Actually yes I recieved a warning because I posted that if I saw qpw burning to death and I happened to have a bucket of water I wouldnt use it on him or something like that.

I got a warning and said will qpw recieve any warning( I refered to a post where he insulted me 5 times lol) yet the mod didnt even respond.

I doubt he's recieved any warning here at all.

Actually, I do not insult everyone.

I would imagine it's about six people, all of whom are ******s who continually post nonsense and ignore all reasoned responses and continue to libel not only poker sites but other members here.

I can promise you that if I started insulting normal posters I'd get booted off just as fast as anyone else.

As is so typical of your lumpen behaviour you still haven't explained why you feel my poll is nonsense.

The reason it stays and yours goes is almost certainly because Jelsoft did not anticipate merging two threads, both of which had polls.

Of course they do.

They also must have pressured 2+2 to put every rigged thread into this one big thread as it's bad for business when every time a player open's up 2+2 there's loads of "Rigged" threads kicking about.
