Had an account on Global Poker for years as I saw it got decent reviews here as as online poker site US players can play at. Finally deposited, played for a few months, then decided to do the bank approval process so I could withdraw. Tried a voided check, they didn't approve because I didn't write the issuance date. Sent another voided check with date, they said it was incomplete (?) and to send a bank statement. So I sent that and they stopped responding. It's been about 3 three weeks since I first started the process, two weeks since their last response of, 'we're reviewing your documents'. No response at all when asked for updates.

Been playing online since before BF, on all sites, sites that even turned out to be scamming everyone...still got my money.

Is Global Poker scamming or just incompetent and this process normally takes a month while they ignore you? Based on all the recent posts about Global Poker being problematic...are they going under? I'd advise any new US players not to play here.

Also unable to get my bank account verified. Been 2 months and they've stopped responding to me. If I open a new ticket the only response I get is that upon looking into it's open under another ticket so this ticket has been closed and never get a response under the other ticket. I'm from Michigan so now am no longer able to play on Global and it feels like they're just running out the clock until February when they say will no longer be able to cash out. Would be willing to cashout via Prizeout and get gift cards but that also gives me an error that says contact support and I get no assistance.

That sucks, the Michigan situation. Yep, going on one month now and still no response. I wouldn't even play there if they did. **** service.

The bank verification page says it can take 1-2 days. If they can't meet that, an update from them would be nice instead of just ghosting.

Rather than telling new players not to play there, you might suggest that they don't play there until they have their account and bank fully verified. I've been playing there for a bit over 3 years, and have never had a problem cashing out. The cash outs are typically approved instantly, and take only a couple days to get to the account. That being said, I have friends who said it took much longer than expected to get their banks approved, so that has always been more of an issue than it should be.

This probably wouldn't be useful for large amounts, but for smaller cashouts you can get gift cards, and don't need your bank to be verified for this (at least I don't think you do). I did get one for a major chain supermarket which I knew I would use.

I tried this. When I go to select any cashout it asks me to enter basic information & when I submit it gives me an error to contact support. My ID and that was already verified. Support provides no help which is why I've been trying to verify a bank account.

I can't imagine anyone would sign up to a poker site and give their ID and two forms of bank information before even playing. And after a month of being ghosted, I would never suggest anyone to play on that site. That's unacceptable service for any business. If it's going to take a few months, okay, let us know. But to stop responding all together for weeks is not cool. I'm glad it worked out well for you. I read many reviews like yours, the reason why I trusted the site. I'm just giving my personal experience and warning. It seems it's not a one off situation as others are having the same issue.

The gift card option is unavailable as page says, You are currently unable to redeem prizes as you do not have a verified bank account.

Update:

They have emailed me and asked for an updated version of the bank statement I sent about 3 weeks ago. I sent a bank statement for November...and now they want one for December? At this point, I've sent them two voided checks, and a bank statement. On top of KYCing my personal information.

This is a joke at this point. I don't even give af about the money and won't play on this site. I'm just curious if they're trying to scam me or what's going on? There's no rep here?

If you are new to Global Poker or don't have your bank account verified there yet...I'd avoid depositing any money on to this site.

I say don't play anywhere without getting verified on poker, sports betting app, anything to do with you spending your money and getting paid out for something.

Resolved. Expect to wait a month+ for bank verification. Withdrew money and received it 2-3 days later.

Been playing on Global for 9-10 months and never had a problem. That being said, I will not do anything until my account is verified on any site. It took me 24 hours to get everything squared away on Global, but I’ve been hearing by many they’ve been waiting weeks. To anyone skeptical about Global I would just say to have patience. They are one of the best choices for US players. Glad OP was able to figure it out!

When I first tried to upload address docs, something errored in the form and it rejected every type of file. I backed out to try again, but it's been stuck on PENDING for about eight days and provides no option to start the process again. I opened a support ticket after 24 hours and have gotten virtually the same response every time from each new person. I've tried in my replies to make it explicitly clear and provided screen shots showing I have NO ABILITY to resubmit my documents. I have asked to have a supervisor contact me twice. They don't reply to any information, and just keep sending the same instructions back. The latest response I got, added a new suggestion to *manually submit* in the account area, but there is no such option.

It's asinine how ineffective their replies have been. I don't get it.

Any success getting this resolved? I am in the EXACT same position and customer service is useless and fail to grasp the issue. All I get are the canned responses of delete cache/cookies, try another browser, etc…. I have done all of that to no avail. The issue clearly lies within their system.

NOPE! Check out this most recent reply where a "supervisor" informed me I may now try to resubmit deatils and docs. Of course, after a foolish glimmer of hope, I discovered there has been no change to verification status and my issue remains exactly the same. It's gotta be deliberate.

Yesterday morning I received a new email from support saying my verification failed and providing a button to try again. Options also reappeared in my account drop down on the site itself. I just uploaded address and bank docs now with no problem - fingers crossed.

Well holy smokes I got another fast reply and my account is verified. Can't say it was a great trip, but I got there. Really surprised.
