I was playing yesterday May 1 on GGPoker and I was grinding to earn a C$ reward from the daily leaderboard for Rush and Cash Omaha that they have everyday. I played 4 tables of .50/1 PLO for 8 hours and made it to the top of the leaderboard. First place is supposed to get $390. What these people did was to extend the day by a couple of hours so that their house bots could win. They also made it impossible for me to win a single hand and my balance quickly went from $1600 down to $17.00. I literally just folded for 10 minutes straight at the end to keep earning points but not going broke because I knew if I went broke then I wouldnt get anything. I knew I had to have at least a $1 of real money or they would have just suspended my account and then not had to withdraw me the $. I emailed their support after midnight because the leaderboard didn't start for the next day and I hadn't received anything in my account. I wanted to look at previous day totals but those all magically disappeared. I then check back a couple of hours later and now I got booted down to 5th because they just made the day 2 or 3 hours longer. So instead of getting $390 like I earned and deserved, I got $125. It's complete bullshit. The email I got back from support confirmed that it is my time of 11:59pm PST was when it ended. At 11:59pm PST, I was in 2nd and not fifth. I didn't see the new leaderboard show up until about 2:30 am PST or 3:00 am PST.

DO NOT PUT ANY MONEY ON GGPOKER UNLESS YOU WANT TO DONATE TO THEM! YOUR FUNDS ARE NOT SAFE THERE!!!!!!!!! THEIR CONTESTS ARE FAKE AND NOTHING IS REAL ON THAT SITE!!!!!!!

Um there are countless articles and threads all over the internet about the shadiness of GG. So the fact that you are still playing on the site knowing how corrupt it is makes me wonder. It's like if you know a cash game at a house you go to has cheaters playing in it, why would you keep going back?

GG leaderboards finish at UTC -8 time which is 1am PST. They are consistent in this and not playing the final hour when it is also happy hour double points is guaranteed for you to drop on the leaderboard. GG didn’t rob you, you can’t read small print… This is coming from someone who grind the NLH leaderboards all the time and never once have I been downgraded randomly

I think what you describe is PT which is different from PST. Confusing but OP has been technically correct with his time zones.

No. Current PT, or PDT, is 11:09 AM (or 10:55 when you posted). Current PST is 10:09 AM.

The S in time zone abbreviations stands for "Standard", as opposed to D for "Daylight Savings". Currently most of North America is on Daylight Savings.

But assuming OP was playing in Pacific Time Zone he was not playing on PST time. He was on Pacific Daylight Time. PDT is UTC-7. So he quit one hour early.

Personally surprised he did not drop farther in the rankings. Also his GG is rigged ("They also made it impossible for me to win a single hand and my balance quickly went from $1600 down to $17.00.") claim lends support that 1) conspiracist off meds (if only GG bots can ever win a hand, no one would be playing. Rigged poker is you win fine or even better than expected...until the big pot comes)O and 2) who would lose $1600 chasing $390? (Not the best poker player nor most logical poster here IMO.)
