As most are aware, mainly from the UK, GG Poker put a deposit limit on for all of the UK players. If I remember right, it was $200 per day / $400 per week / $1300 per month. As a full time grinder and moving money from site to site on a regular basis, for me it needs to be higher so I asked for an increase. As per UK laws GG said that I would need to prove my income to prove I could afford to play the games I was playing, via e-wallet or bank statements. Because I use Skrill to move funds around I sent in 3 months’ worth of statements (3 months is what they asked for) these were showing a profit of £17k over the course of the 3 months. They then emailed back saying that they couldn’t quite work out what was what in the statement, even though I filtered the statement for deposits and withdrawals only (I could of got my 5 year old son to work that out for them, it was super easy) so I then proceed to sort 3 months bank statements because that’s what they asked for, in the statements I used a colour code for deposits/withdrawals/bills (such as phone bill, gym etc…) and funds I send to my partner as I just send it to her to save if I don’t put it in my savings account.
They emailed me back saying that they couldn’t quite work these out also and asked for a detailed e-wallet, so I proceed to send once again, again, no joy so I pretty much type up what’s what to detail in my bank statement, they email me back saying there are a few issues, even though no payments were missed but one being that I send my funds to my partner, I’m not entirely sure why that is an issue, be interested to know!?

I sent both of these in to GG and also offered to send screenshots of my transaction history but they said they wanted proof of my accounts (bank/e-wallet) with money in so I offered to send a screen shot my savings account and before I knew it they had Self Excluded me for 6 months, I never asked for this, they took it upon themselves even though up to this point I had done all that was asked and proved I could afford to play the games I was playing. After a few back and forth emails they said they would accept a screen shot of my savings account, which I did with £10k in:

Since I have sent this, well over 7 weeks now, I have not had 1 email, no response, nothing. I tried to contact the reps on Discord who at first were super helpful then like GG support just ignored my messages.
I just cannot get my head around why this hasn’t been sorted, I did everything that was asked and proved I can afford to play an ABI of $25. Has anyone else had and similar issues with GG? I have had similar issues on other sites and once I sent bank statements or proof of savings it was instantly dealt with. After 12 years of playing full time I have never come across something so ridiculous, once I sent some form of proof of income they then wanted something else, it’s as if they have ran out of things to ask for now so just chosen to ignore me, why, I don’t know. I know and I have heard rumours that a few winning players have been kicked/forced off or make it hard work for them to deposit so maybe this is one of their ‘’ways’’

I have sent many emails since my email with the savings account screen shot and they haven’t responded to one. I also emailed saying I would post here and make the public aware of the poor dealings of such situations but they clearly aren’t bothered what so ever.

So why do they want you as a customer?


Have you read their ToS and contacted the relevant dispute resolution authorities?

At this point you are not getting access back after 'your' self exclusion is over so you may as well.

Probably because like everyone else that plays on the site (win or lose) I pay the the rake so they make money from me, I make money from other players not GG.

Not yet I haven't but I will do. I'm well aware that not a lot will happen but I believe that people who choose to play on this site might want to re think. I'm not the only one this has happened to I want to make the public aware of GGs wrong doings. As I have said to several people, if id done something wrong I would not be here posting about it.

If you constantly win from other players they will go broke and leave and gg will lose that rake. So they prefer everyone being be or losing hence the pvi for example.

If poker had a comunity like other games none of this would happen, no supernova scam no banning and harassing etc, unfortunately poker has worst comunity in any area, people would sell their mother for some extra rb, just look at twitch streamers everyone streaming to promote his school scam, book, gto machine, poker site, all to make more money asap as an individual.

Just be glad if they let you cash out. With how much you've won, you're lucky they didn't falsely accuse you of botting/RTA and just confiscate all your funds. There's really nothing stopping them from doing that other than their own benevolence.

You should cash out ALL your funds and never play on GG anymore. This could be first step for account closure / being investigated for any length of time = big chance of loosing your money.

You should also make a complaint with the licenser issuer about this and make sure you document ALL.

The point was about me proving I could afford to play the games I was playing, I did that and beyond, now ignored for 7/8 weeks. I've had people say I'm bad for business because I am winning, they prefer recs... etc.. etc.. so they are just going to ban all winning players? No, of course they are not, there are still tons of winning players playing on there.

It looks that way. Why not just say so via a reply? Although I have proven as stated many times that I can afford to play the games I have been playing.

I know this actually wasn't going to do a great deal, I was hoping maybe someone had a similar situation and could of helped, not to worry.

I only tried to upgrade my self-imposed depo-limit. I have been crushing the games.

Well they have strong famous pros working for them and promoting right? But this doesnt happen only on GG and not only to UK players for sure.

This happened to me on stars 1 year ago..they first froze my account twice for bogus ludacriss no sense reason within 2 months and after getting angry with them, spamming their social media and letting them know they were incompetent they permanently closed my account and manually cleared my funds back to me. Strangely enough also after running hot at a Bounty builders series being up around 12k and having a roi of around 15 at 10 ABI for a large sample lifetime.

After half a year I e mailed back to re instate my account and funny enough they actually did like nothing had happened within half an hour!!!

I also think the lack of player representatives makes these scum bags do anything they want whenever they want and we ll start hearing these stories more often across all sites.

GG doesn't want big winners, it's obvious. They will ban a crusher for "bumhunt" for doing nothing that all the other regs don't do. Meanwhile, they allow rat holers to run rampant, people 16 tabling, timing down every hand. Why? cos they have bad w/r.

All GG wants is bad regs grinding Rakeback and fishes.

There are winners on GG. You think they just ban all winners? You think you just haven't heard?

Any reg over a certain winrate at reg rable gets pinged and warned for "bumhunt". Even regs who were table starting and reg waring have been warned for "bumhunt" other regs.
