the live site update from their website claims there are 25,000 seated players at 7000 tables and 1500 tournaments playing now...full tilt.... thats not true

Don't know, but just as one other bit of data, the online forum within FTP's website won't allow logons, though one can read. There's only four posts about the crash, so the authentication server's down, it's more than just poker operations.

Which, in a Dilbertish way, explains why the website says that systems are up. There's probably no way to update the website automatically...

Sorry for the late response. We're working as quickly as possible getting the game back up and running. I don't have an solid ETA yet for when that will be, but we're probably at least an hour away from being back up.

As far as tournaments go, they will all be cancelled and paid out according to our tournament cancellation rules found in rule #31 on:
