Credit unions have generally been the BEST option because they seem to have largely ignored the UIGEA. Local or regional banks have generally been OK as well.

The LAST thing I would do is open an account with a megabank where your account may get flagged by their corporate office.

I know of no reason why echecks wouldn't work for you but if you have to use paper checks, just do that. No biggie.

Echeck is the same as bank transfer as far as I know. Maybe it was a different option at some point. It's hard to keep track. Max bank transfer is $950, no fees (unless your own bank/credit union charges one for some reason), minimal rakeback deduction, and usually super-quick (although you shouldn't count on that).

Bank wire has much higher transfer limits but much higher and somewhat random fees because intermediate banks take $$ out as it winds its way towards your account. I don't know too much more about it.

lol @ ftp

i requested a xfer monday evening, in acct today.

I also had 2x BWs that got approved monday night but still haven hit my acct yet. Not worried tho. How a xfer gets to my acct before a "premium" bw i am unsure. but its nice to have such quick turnovers for the bank xfers for once.

They are still 'looking into' where my transfer went... I got a little persistent with them and finally got a response from the same person twice, since I had 6 emails from them, all different people. Going on 3 1/2 weeks though. Having a phone number would make me feel a bit safer, aha.

I did some research on the use my wallet option (quicktender), you can cash out via wire (it's the only option), and they seem to come in 5 days or less and this has been consistent for a long time. I'm pretty excited about that. They also set the minimum WD at $100 and unfortunately there are going to be a bunch of people that don't understand that it has a $30 fee (even though it says it) plus about 15 from your bank, even though this is super standard for international wires. Just don't do wires for small amounts or if you are a nit.

With respect to NoFx Fan's suggestion that I don't post to the FT Withdrawal thread anymore, I will cease and desist

It was my first post and my thread, so it was cool to see it kind of grow but I understand it's about the entire forum community helping each other.

With NoFx's and Sean's help, I now have more options to withdraw at FT.

I did have two question on UseMyWallet...is there a 5% charge to deposit and can you withdraw more than you deposit using the same method?

Sean answered the second question...he thinks you can...but it was not a definite yes.

Anyone want to opine in the 5% question?

Russel as I understand it there is a 5% deposit fee if you use a card. All of us who are first time users of this will have to incur that at least once, as it's a requirement to deposit in order to set up your account. You could do a small deposit though. Once you have done that there is no fee to move funds from the site into the ewallet. Meaning if you withdrew funds from FTP into your ewallet and then say, went to cake and deposited those funds from your ewallet there is no 5% fee. It's only when depositing funds from your credit card into QT.

I'm guessing Sean confirmed that you can withdraw more then you deposit? This would make the most sense. This option is not a cure all but it's good to have another option and I'm glad FTP is adding it for some people.

The two best things I think it offers is secure reliable bank wire for withdrawal and the flexibility of moving funds on other sites that support UMY/QT.

Sean said he believes one can withdraw more than one deposits into ewallet but I guess the only real confirmation would be a completed transaction, which I have yet to try.

My original introduction to the forum resulted from my inability to use the bank transfer option on 3/2, Sean has confirmed that it's now available to new customers as well.

Your post on the ewallet option actually makes it a better option than bank transfers. I'd rather pay a little more for the flexibility.

I'm not sure where you came up with the idea of "cannot withdraw more than deposited amount into ewallet."

Back in the day on Stars, you were forced to withdraw the amount of the deposit back to your ewallet. Anything more than deposit could be cashed out via the method of your choice. I feel like that is what you are thinking about. I have never heard of what you are wondering about.

Does not Stars still have a first in first out rule with certain deposit methods?

Like you mentioned, any excess could obviously be cashed via another method.

My question remains can you cash the excess via ewallet?

Russel, that 5% fee is something you pay every time you deposit with a card on usemywallet, so it doesn't make sense to do it except for a first time deposit. But it's not going to affect how much you can withdrawal. I have used usemywallet for years on other sites, and I'm happy that full tilt just added it. They charge the highest fees of all the withdraw methods I have ever used, but usemywallet is also the only withdrawal method that has always worked 100% of the time for me w/ no problems/delays, etc. (so far.) That being said, I still do not feel comfortable having high balances on Quicktender because it is basically the same thing as NETELLER.

I don't understand either why people are wondering if you can withdrawal more than you deposit. Of course you can. When have you not been able to?

NP, Many thanks for this.

Extra fees seem worth the peace of mind.
