The same thing is happening to me right now. Requested 500 bank xfer, got the email that it is being delayed and i will get wire xfer. Got supposedly free 50 credited to my account. Received wire transfer for 450.63 today.

Does that represent the fees assessed by the other side?
No, the $50 is to cover the expected fees charged by banks for wires. The money that came out of your wire was charged by some combination of the intermediary processor (middleman between FTP and your bank) and your bank itself.

No clue on your situation but I think its based on withdraw history or amount of money in your account or something like that. I say that because I remember when I played SSNL the largest withdraw option I had was $10k and since playing MSNL I have a withdraw option up to $100k

Browse through this thread a little. In short, yes.

I have withdrawn money different ways through FTP including via wire. Do you think withdrawing via wire from some crazy country raises more red flags from out banks than the other withdrawl methods?

ok I tried my first bank wire and it hit today but now my debit card doesn't work does that mean they flagged my acct? I'm kind of in full panic mode right now...

I use a credit union and I've never had bank probs before.

How much do they take out of RB on a wire (is it a %, the amount of the wire fee, something else)? I just found out the hard way

God damn. Rakeback can be both a curse and a blessing. Curious: do any other w/d methods incur MGR hits or just wires?

every method has a hit, Bank Transfers are usually $1, but max $950 payout AND they have not been reliable since November. wires are the best bet

is FTP giving a $50 credit to your account when you request a wire? Or is that only if the happen to turn your bank transfer into a wire?

has anyone ever done a wire to a place other than a traditional bank. don't want to name names, so think of the sort of place where you would have rolled over a 401(k) from a prior employer into and have IRAs and mutual fund accounts there. Mine accepts wires, but not sure I could go straight there from ftp.

Your best bet is a bank wire. Find out if your account has a separate routing number for wires, otherwise the bank might reject it or might honor it for you but then send you a complaint notice about it. Seems like you don't want any attention here so it's best to find out the correct routing number first.
