hi.. so i just came here to find about cashouts with FTP..

i recently requested a bank transfer on 3/18 to my NETSPEND card .. which if you arent familiarwith that its a prepaid debit card that accepts direct deposits and ACH bank transfers.. or so i think.. anyways still waiting on that..

but then I recently had a friend who cashd out to his Bank of America via bank transfer and he got his funds in 2 days.. so i signed up for a bank of america account, and requested a premium bank wire last night.. its already been aproved so the only question left to ask is.. when should i expect to see funds? also fees? does anyone know what fees will be?

thanks!

it depends, but i'd guess 3-5 business days until you receive the money.

fees vary a lot, many ppl report occasionally having no fee, others including myself have paid up to 3% or so.

Yet another question.. When you entered your "routing" number for the bank wire, you are aware that this is a different number than the one you would use for say direct deposits, or the bank ACH transfers?

At least thats what my bank said, any clarification? Using BoA

Premium bank wire requested 3/22 Approved 3/22. Still have not received funds 7 business days now.

Requested and Approved 3/25
Received 3/30

Got hit with $49 in intermediary bank fees this time, in the past I was actually receiving a few cents extra. Oh well, I am not complaining, fast and painless.

FWIW, if people withdrawing smaller amounts want to avoid the fees, I'd use the Check option right now. I withdrew via Check on 3/21 and had it deposited and cleared by 3/29.

Mine took about a week, lost $50 in middle-man fees. But I got my mobnies at least. Had I realized there would be $50 taken out I probably would have just done the ACH option til I got the amount I needed, but I never had more than like $20 taken out so I didn't quite see it coming. Oh well, tax deduction amirite

it looks like $128 in fees!

looking into it, i presume this is wrong.

historically its been $40-60... (w/d ranging $1,500-2,000)

Got an email back from FTP support, basically a form letter stating "...intermediate banks..., ...you were warned..." Basically they are uninterested if the middlemen are charging $100+ to make a wire transfer...

pretty disillusioned right now... i had been singing their praises for a long time, but now with double fees i'm not sure i can find much praise...

I was thinkin of gettin a bank wire today or tomorrow. I've done 4-5 of them so far with no problem but recently my bank has been calling me constantly to what i presume is poker related. I haven't sent money to myself for over a month because i'm worried it won't work. Should I just ignore them and send more ftp money to my account? What do you guys think.

it's not a good idea to ignore your banks repeated phone calls. they will then send you a letter asking to discuss your transactions, and then if you continue to ignore, they'll likely close your account.
