you guys are crazy. sure the ridiculous fees suck balls. but we've never had a quicker, more reliable method of getting our money. even quicker than neteller. given the current climate, i think it's pretty awesome.

plus, you don't always get hit with the fees. the first 2 PBWs i did i actually received more money than the amount i withdrew.

Yep. Emailed about them and they basically said that's the way it is -- some people don't have all the options. Maybe it's based on what bank you're using?

Wow thats pretty annoying because I rather wait a couple days and not get slapped by interbank fees and my $12 bank fee for a small transfer.

I dont think it has to do with what kind of bank that you have because before I even cashed out on FTP it was the only option I had.

got another wire within 2 business days. only charged $12 this time, last time it came to about $60. i'm really happy with this service and hope it stays available. i have no problem paying 1-3% vig on a cashout if it's gonna be in my bank account in a couple days.. the people complaining about the costs in this thread have obviously never had to wait MONTHS for a check to come in the mail.

Anyone know if a "bank wire" costs more (rakeback) than a "premium bank wire"?

Does the intermediate bank take ~ the same from each?

Your Crazy, IMO. The fees aren't that bad, espec. when making
bigger transactions...(5k)....maybe if your requesting $250ish wires(lol), then I can see your point..but that's it.

Altho with checks, if your willing to wait...and...wait...and..wait.....and then once you do get it, it could very well bounce. If it does, they'll put your money back in your account, then you'll have to request another check and do all that waiting again.

Me and quite a few others would rather pay the extra few bucs with a guarantee of your $ being in your bank account in a few days.....No BullS***!

Q about premium bank w/d

mine was has left it's processing phase in my histroy, in past transactions it shows the amount and says premium bank wire.

The problem is i did not recieve an Email from FTP confirming it has been approved, I thought you get an email as soon as w/d are approved, no?

People need to start differentiating between the fees from your bank, and the fees taken out of the wire before it hits your bank. Nobody really cares about how much your bank charges you because it varies from bank to bank and that is something you can control. People here are only interested in how much others are getting taken out before it hits your bank.

Today I received my premium bank wire from FTP for $4,800. My bank called and asked where the money came from. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what did you tell them? This is the first bank wire because I used to use Western Union for my cashouts. Should I be concerned that the bank has noticed this and made a point to call me? Am I getting reported to the IRS or something? Obviously I plan on paying taxes because I plan on playing full time when I graduate college in May. But I just wanted to see if this has happened with anyone else's bank and what this means?

Question on the Premium Bank Wire.

First off this is the only option showing up with "Select"... anyone else seeing this?

Secondly, does anyone have any experience with withdrawing to Bank of America? I'm more concerned with the "extra" fees that are being charged by an intermediate bank. How much will this be?

How does withdrawing using this method affect rakeback/mgr?

Thanks in advance!

Means it is your only available w/d option atm. You have not verified your ID yet with them have you? Once you do you will see "Select" under checks. Bank wires are the shhhht though......even with the fees.

Emailed FTP about not having the Bank Transfer option:

Original Message Follows: ------------------------

I have done several Bank Wires over the past few months and love the convenience and quickness of this service. However the fees associated with it have become annoying. I am well aware that you don't control this and I don't mind paying if I need the money quickly. My problem is that I no longer have the option of a Standard Bank Transfer. I had it a few months ago but after doing a Wire it disappeared from my options. Through some reading on 2+2 it seems that some have this option and some don't anymore. What is this based on and how can I get the transfer option back?

Thanks

Req 1/7
App 1/7
Rec....

First time doing this instead of check so lets see how long it takes : )

Req 2/8 (at about 6 a.m., PST)
App 2/8 (less than a minute later)
Rec 2/9 (!) but with $36.73 in fees.

My feeling is that I don't mind the unfortunately sometimes hefty and unpredictable fees if it's coming in next day.

Did get hit with $31 "processing fee", but who cares. If you're requesting any kind of significant payment and it arrives into your account 2 days later, you can deal with the 3% bank fees or whatever they ultimately amount to. Read about all the ordeals people go through when they try to deposit checks and pay the bank fees with a smile on your face....

Mine was missing about $40 .

It didn't show up as a "fee". It was just "missing".

How should I go about finding where it went ?
