Does FTP actually do $ transfers(I live in Euroland). I want to cashout $ to a $ bank account. Or do they automatically convert to € to make profit on bad exchange rates?

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

If you don't see see bank transfer in your cashier, then it is not a withdrawal option for you.

The Withdrawal screen in the "Cashier" window allows you to view all of your available withdrawal options. These options are based on your transaction history. For your security, we can only process withdrawals to a payment processor account once it's been used to make a successful deposit on our site. Once you've deposited with a new payment processor, it will appear as a withdrawal option.

We also provide withdrawal by check. For more information on check withdrawals, please visit our website at: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/withdrawal.php

I did a premium bank wire for $400,

req: 12/13
approved: instantly
received 12/15
fees: $30.15 from somewhere???? wtf + $10 from my bank.

I'm not happy since I can do regular xfers for free and they don't take but a couple days longer.

$1030 12-17 requested and approved.

Will update

...and these fees. they're normal, look through the thread, it's nothing new. And imo, it's well worth the few bucs.

My wire ($10k, so just the regular Bank Wire I think?) was approved 11/23, still nothing. I've emailed FTP with my bank statement to prove that I have not yet received the money..that was a few days ago..std no-response yet.

Anything else I should try?

Edit: BNY Mellon Bank

I got a canned response email from FTP responding to my complaint. Does anyone actually read these emails over there? I spent extra time making the email pleasant as I stated my complaint. Then they just piss me off with these canned responses. If I wasn't such a rakeback whore, I'd go elsewhere.

I don't understand your complaint.

If you would have read the info on FT that pops up when you request a pemium wire you would have known where the somewhere was.

If you would have read this thread before you did anything you would have known where the somewhere was and a whole lot more.

Don't feel special. Many people come here to complain instead of taking advantage of the very useful info in this thread.

Are you really suprised that FT support did not send you a personal answer to your personal question?. They barely have enough staff to send out canned responses. If you were lucky, their response actually addressed your question.

12-18 In my account. -$33.81 $17 from my bank for incoming wires
$16.81 from the intermediate bank from
fulltilt or w/e

Very Happy. How can you not be? $16.81 for a 1k blazing fast w/d. No bouncing/bad checks to stress over. No emails needed to be sent and not answered for weeks. Why are more people not using this? It's easy and quick and cheap! Especially if you do a bigger w/d.

I guess people will still complain when there is nothing to complain about.

I am waiting on a wire right now and I think we need to find out what these extra fees are. I have received several wires before from FTP and only had a $10 fee from Wells Fargo (my bank) on one of them (I didn't even have to pay a Wells wire fee on few of them). There is a thread where a high stakes player received a $40K wire with extra fees (almost $1,300 or about 3%) and FTP gave him his money back and said it was due to a Euro-to-USD conversion by the bank (but initially they said they were intermediary bank fees and told him to go fly a kite and it was not until 2+2'er FTPSean got involved that it got taken care of). We should not have to deal with extra fees either especially ones we don't know about ahead of time. This is ridiculous.

I read in a post that everyone who is upset and wants to get their money back or at least to find out what is going on need to PM FTPSean and explain to him what happened (and put your FTP user name in the message). I will if it happens to me. I think if enough of us complain, they will have to compensate. I really don't care what the fees are for or where they originated from (besides our own banks' fees) we should not have to pay them because FTP says they do not charge you for the wire and while they might not be directly charging us, they are indirectly charging us for the wires if they are passing on the costs to us.

Someone also said that even Absolute (lol) compensates for intermediary bank fees. I am assuming that is what these are and it would be a real joke if FTP didn't.

I had requested $600 but I only received $569 not including my bank's fees. Over 5% that is terrible. I can't even believe how high it is looking at the posts here. I am going to PM FTPSean because this is a joke.

For smaller cashouts, using a bank wire is silly. The bank transfer shows up just as quick and with no fees.

Well you have not been keeping up on the bank transfers then. I was reading one of the threads and there are many people who have not received their bank transfer money in weeks. This happens all the time with bank transfers. I have had a few of take over a month. Besides, the other times I have used the wire option it worked fine (I got 100% of my money) so I didn't know about this until after the request was approved.
