It is not illegal to receive $ from a poker site. I don't think that by asking a question about fees the bank will then scrutinize where it came from. If they did, they would find out it came from a legitimate bank account with no indication that it was from a poker site. How suspicious.

Yes banks can refuse to do business with you for just about any reason. So it doesn't hurt to be quiet.

It does amaze me that there is post after post of people suprised at the fees when all they have to do is actually read some of this thread as all that info has been discussed at length. I wonder if anyone will read this.

My issue with the fees wouldn't exist if they charged me for them the first time. I tried it out, it was fast, and there were no fees aside from the $10 from my bank, so I did it again. I remember reading when I did it that there are no fees for cashing out via Premium Bank Transfer except for what your bank charges. That's why these fees are such a surprise to me.

I only asked my bank if the charges were theirs and if not, did they know where the fees came from. They know I withdraw poker winnings quite often and they're fine with it. They take all my FTP checks with no problems.

xfer or wire? This is the wire thread. Either case you can find out in the FT cashier. Once you select the method of withdrawal it gives that info. Imagine that.

Anyone else experiencing a delay around the same time? Damn I run bad with cash outs.
Still nothing... has anyone here had a cash out take this long? (The amt was $4k if that matters)

I heard if it was a problem on their end, they will compensate you with additional $. Anyone know if this is true?

I emailed them 2 days ago (I know support on FTP sucks) and they have not gotten back to me yet. What is the longest you guys have waited for a wire?

This is BS... I have had this happen to me a couple months ago and they just put it back into my FTP account. With a wait this long, I should have just requested a check. FML

I'm still waiting on my 11/24/09 bank wire. It took them 2 days to respond to my email.

What did they say on the email? Can you post it on here? Thanks.

I mistakenly originally posted the email in the Full Tilt Bank Xfers thread. Here is a summary of my situation:

I used the premium bank wire once or twice and it only took 1 day before it was in my account. My most recent request for a $5,000 wire is more concerning.

What is the status of my premium bank wire transfer? Typically, it only took one day for the transfer to go through. It has been 10 days and the money has not yet hit my account.

I have not heard any update on my withdrawal status. Please let me know if there has been an error or if my premium bank wire is still being processed. Thank you.

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

We are currently looking into your situation, but it may take some time to fully research this issue.

Rest assured, we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience in the meantime.

^ Thanks for the post. I have just recieved the same type of auto reply email FTP usually sends out in addressing a problem.

It seems like the two main things in common in our situation is the time frame we requested the cash out and the fact that we withdrew a larger sum of money (4k/5k).

When you cashed out previously, was the amount just as high?

I just hope they resolve the problem quicker. I will update hopefully sooner than later.

thirsty and Solid: Definitely keep us updated. That "Rest assured" e-mail from FTP is so classic and annoying. But I'm sure you will get your money eventually.

I was getting a little nervous myself because I requested a premium wire for about $4K on Dec. 1, and the money didn't show up within two days (which it always had for all my previous wires). But I just checked my bank account and the money is in there as of this morning. That's the longest a wire has ever taken for me, and it was still under five business days, so I'm certainly not complaining.

this is really strange, ive gotten countless wires from full tilt and it's never taken longer than a few days.

lol @ "rest assured". yeah, there's no reason to worry with FTPs long storied history of returning emails in a timely manner.

wire approved: Nov. 18 (still waiting)

I emailed them about a week ago and got this response:

We have just been advised that there is an issue that has caused a delay
in the processing of our wire transfers.

We are still unsure of the extent of the delay and are waiting for
direction form our bank.

As soon as we have more information, we will get back to you.

We apologise for the delay

How concerned should I be?

Was this a premium bank wire from the cashier, or a regular wire that you emailed them to request?

I made 2 5k Premium bank wires this weekend. Received them today (really fast). The only problem is that I was charged $74 for each transfer by the intermediary bank!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!

$74 FOR EACH TRANSFER. Plus the $13 that my bank will take for each one; $90 for each one. That is really ******ed.

Yeah, for some reason it seems like there was a problem with regular wires for a few weeks (other players have said FT told them the problem has been fixed and they should start going through soon.)

It is possible that some banks may have switched to using the wire routing number instead of the routing number on checks. I spoke with someone on the phone from another large national bank and they provided me with the wire routing number and said that the routing number printed on the check would not work. I have contacted Full Tilt about this issue and I will update when I hear back.

Yeah, my best guess is that this is the issue. I just recently received a transaction cancelled from Stars but when they cancelled it they said that I had to change my account info to include my bank SWIFT code number instead of my routing number and put it through again. Full Tilt just said my transaction was declined by my bank with no instructions other than to verify my info.
