Hi John,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

Please find below the details of your Wire withdrawal:

Amount: xxxx
Transfer Reference: 0xxxxx
Bank Account Number: xxxx
Date Approved: 15th January

Please note:

* Full Tilt Poker uses several third party payment processors. As a result the billing descriptor listed on your bank statement may be unfamiliar to you. Please check your bank statement carefully.
* the amount you receive for your Wire may be less than the actual amount of the withdrawal due to your bank and/or intermediary bank fees for this transaction.

We recommend rechecking the bank statement that corresponds to the bank account number listed above, beginning with the date it was approved to the current date.

If you are still unable to locate the transaction, please provide us with a copy of your bank statement from the original approval date until the current date so we can investigate further.

If you bank online and do not receive a paper statement, please send a screen shot of your online statement. Before sending copies of your document, please ensure the following requirements are met:

* The copies are clear and legible (96 to 150 DPI or higher recommended for scanned copies).
* The copies include the full document (bill/pay stubs, folded papers and partial sections are not accepted).
* It must display your full name and the same address listed on your Full Tilt Poker account.
* Statements must clearly display your bank's letterhead or official logo and must show your account number
* We can only accept email attachments of 3 MB or less, and attachments can be in either JPEG (.jpg) or PDF (.pdf) format.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please let us know. We're always here to help.

Regards,

James

Yeah I'm in the same boat; I got an e-mail from Full Tilt today saying that my recent bank wire was rejected. The e-mail reads:

"This withdrawal has been returned by your banking institution. As a result, your funds have been returned to your Full Tilt Poker account.

We would recommend using an alternative bank account for your withdrawals."

I have done dozens of wires, all to the same bank account, and this is the first time I've had problems. Anyone have any advice? I remember other people posting in this thread that they've received the same e-mail about a wire "being returned by your banking institution." I'm wondering if I should just try again with another wire to the same account, or if I'm out of luck and I need to find a new bank asap.

Has anyone had success getting wires to the same bank account after receiving the "returned by your banking institution" e-mail?

Edit: I use B. of A****ca

I'm with BoA though I hate them. Mine went through quickly. I'm seriously considering a switch to Ally.

kswell,

Sorry for posting the country of origin. I honestly hesitated to post it but then I saw PyramidScheme had over 9k posts and assumed he wouldn't ask for something to be posted that wasn't appropriate.

I totally see where you're coming from. I tried to edit/delete the post but it seems I can't now. If a mod can delete the post, I totally cool with it. Sorry for posting it.

The processing fees now are pretty ridiculous, took me a month to receive my wire.

My advice (and I've had bank accts closed because of poker, with these national banks) is to use a small local bank. I had an acct with US$ank and it was the same thing. Now BoA is all gung ho about these things. Just avoid these big banks altogether (at least for poker related transactions) and use a small, local bank for your poker. You won't have any more problems.

requested $950 on dec 19th, $500.27 on dec 27th,
was told on January 7th that due to problems with the processor they were going to send $1450.27 via bank wire, and credited me $50 extra.
Bank wire came for only $1401.29 and the bank charged me $12 so I was $10.98 short. I emailed tilt and they credited me $15 the same day.
so it took a month for everything to be done.

Wasn't the 50 supposed to be like a free gift for you patience?

The same thing is happening to me right now. Requested 500 bank xfer, got the email that it is being delayed and i will get wire xfer. Got supposedly free 50 credited to my account. Received wire transfer for 450.63 today.

Does that represent the fees assessed by the other side?

FT support in their email to me:
To cover any wire fees and in appreciation of your patience in this matter we will be crediting your Full Tilt Poker account with $50 within the next 24 hours.
so it was supposed to be a gift/cover charges I guess. I told them (and showed them) that I was down $10.98 so they gave me $15, which is $4.02 extra, which is .2772% of my withdrawal amount. 3.33% annualized. pretty bad, but better than my checking account interest which is where it actually would have sat so meh
