seems like PBW's are generally slower than Bankwires

but for me at least. when i request a PBW withdrawal it gets accepted instantly, while a regular bankwire takes around 24 hours to be accepted

My first wire experience went pretty well.

12/1 requested VIP wire
12/6 showed up as pending in my bank account
12/7 cleared, it appears no fee has been taken out. In fact, it is $0.24 higher than I requested, sick ROI

From what I've read, I suppose there is still a chance that a fee gets taken out in the next few days, which would be a bit of a leTDown, but I'll report back if it does.

Have not posted in years, but have always found these threads helpful as it relates to current state of WD methods. After reading these I decided to use the Premium Bankwire.
I requested on 12/5, was approved instantly, and received the wire on 12/7. The total fees charged (including those from my own bank) were $51 on a $2500 WD. I don't like paying the fee, but I certainly have never received a WD this quickly either. I used checks in the past with no issues, but the recent posts steered me in this direction. Thanks and hopefully this helps with others' decisions in the near-term.

idk what's going on but these processor issues have been going on for over a month now and seems to be the worst it has ever been in my 5 years of playing online.

Hey guys i have a small balance in my full tilt account. Its about $1000 only.

Hey guys. I spoke to PS and they said it cost nothing to withdraw from their end and to ask my bank about it. Well i contacted my bank and they tell me that it cost nothing for a wire transfer if it goes INTO my bank account. I asked but isn't there some intermediary bank account since it can't go directly from one institution to you. They said yes there is. They said it would first hit that bank and then hit my bank account. However, since my account is with them and NOT the intermediary bank, i would not be charged any fees whatsoever.

Have you by any chance heard of any bank that doesn't charge ANY fees for an incoming bank wire transfer even though they have to use an intermediary bank? They said even though it goes through an intermediary bank, it is free because i have a bank account with them and not an account with that intermediary bank.

Would a bank wire from full tilt be free as well? Is it possible to get a wire transfer for free? My bank tells me its free as long as the other institution who send it charges nothing and PS charges nothing. Also, i am looking at the full tilt bank wire information and it says the bank account that i send to has to be a CHECKING ACCOUNT? Has anyone done this with a savings account and it worked?

Rec 12/8 - It's available in my account as my full withdrawal amount with no money taken from intermediaries. I usually get charged a $15 flat fee from my bank. If that's all it is i'll be happy.

Received 11-29 PBW today. It posted to my account yesterday but my bank is a small credit union and only updates in the morning. Took 6 business days in total so cutting it close but received still the same.

First, you definitely shouldn't be talking to your bank about receiving wires from a poker site. (your post was a little confusing but I think that's what you were saying?) That's a good way to get your account closed.

Regardless, even if your bank lets you receive wires for free, the wire is going to come through an intermediary site and they are going to charge you some random fee and there isn't anything you can do about that. It's just something you have to live with when using wires.

Also, I'm not sure if you're talking about FTP or PS wires. (you seem to mention both) but this thread relates to FTP wires. I don't know how PS stuff works.

Yes i meant full tilt and stars but mostly stars. They just said even though the money goes through an intermdiary site, it would still be free. I just wanted to know has ANYONE done a bank wire transfer and it was free before. They said something like the intermediary transfers to their bank but since I'm their customer and not the intermediary, its absolutely free...

I get free wires at BofA, but I've always been hit by at least $35 in intermediary fees, plus another $25 in rakeback usually. Some people have posted that they have received wires with no intermediary fees taken out, but they are definitely the small minority, and it isn't like it's always consistent across one bank or even person. As far as I know, there isn't anything you personally can do to assure you won't get hit with intermediary fees.

I'm Bo@ too and have yet to recieve my 12/3 wire.

My problem is that I never gave them BO@'s routing number for wires and they used the routing number that I put in for my bank transfer which is different.

Do you know if this will cause a problem, I've read in previous posts that it shouldn't matter, but I feel like I should've recieved my wire by now.

Any info for me...Anyone???
