I'm another one that got raped in fees. I'm using a local credit union. My credit union charged $16 but I get hit for $43 in fees from intermediate banks.

I did the premium bank wire thinggy, requested withdrawal Friday morning and got it on Monday. But just about $60 in fees is rape if you ask me.

Rather than giving the ABA routing number listed on your check (or a specific routing number for wires), has anyone tried instead to provide the bank SWIFT code? If so, is the routing of the wire (and hence, the fees) affected at all?

How is it possible in a thread with now almost 600 posts that ANYONE is complaining about what they are being charged for a wire. The only exception is the one guy who made a thread where he was charged over a grand, it was a mistake (something to do with exchange rate iirc) and was corrected.

I'd say anything under 100 is not a mistake and is well known. It just makes no sense when the very people that post in this thread (they obv know of the existence of this thread) complain when they are hit with fee's.

Hi, I have a friend who did a wire and had good things to say about it. It seems to be the most efficent way to withdrawal. I am currently trying to make a withdrawal but do not even see the option on my account. I emailed the cashier and asked them why this is but they didn't tell me anything. Does anyone know what you have to do to get this option?

How long does it take to get your first wire processed and approved? I requested a regular bankwire yesterday for $1500 at 3:00 PM and it's still processing.

YMMV. Mine was in ~6 hrs. Some people have reported ~3 days.

No, there's no way to know. On some of my bank wires, I've had just $12 in fees; on others, I've had about $60 in fees. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason.

Requested 1,05.69
I got 1,022.69 mins $12 in fees from my bank

That's 52$ in fees for a 1k transfer. This is BS.

But, even if it was, that doesn't change whether or not it's BS. If they charged a 100% fee for every bank wire, it would be both standard and total BS.

I've done way more than 3 wires, and trust me, it IS "completely standard." My usual fees are $50 or $60. Sometimes I get lucky and get hit only with a $12 fee, but the higher fees are more common.

You might think it's BS, and trust me, I definitely share your annoyance at the fees! But unfortunately this is the situation we must deal with given the legal uncertainty of poker transactions. Full Tilt has limited options in getting us our money. Bank wires are the fastest and most reliable right now. The downside is the fees.

If you're only withdrawing $1000, just use "bank transfer" if it's available for you. No fees on that.

Bank transfer used to be available, but not any more.

I think I'll just switch to checks.

I have a question regarding a problem im having with bank wires. Ive never used bank wires before, I used to use bank transfers to get my money off but that option is no longer available to me for some reason so now I have to use the bank wires.

For my first bank wire I took off $355 on January 9th and no it is the 19th and still no money, Im worried that something happened, mabye I typed in a wrong number by accident. Ive contacted full tilt cashier office multiple times over the last few days but ive gotten no response back. Has anyone here had a similar problem and if so how did you get it resolved?

Thanks

made a 4k bw, got it into my account inside of 1 business day lastweek.

$43 in fees, plus some rb hit. one of those tarp banks

Not probably gonna use again considering if doing premium bw is basically going to start costing me 1/2 a buyin at my normal stakes. Was fun to have it hit my acct quickly tho.

plz give me back bankxfers...
