Can you tell us what state you are in and what bank it was to?

Perhaps we can figure out what banks are getting hit with this intermediate bank fee.

Is it true that smaller credit unions and such don't charge fees on this wire ?

I'm in GA and my bank is B of A. They only hit me with a $12 fee, but it was this mysterious "intermediary" bank that got me for $38.

i requested a premium bank wire earlier this afternoon and it still hasnt been approved yet which concerns me because it seems like everyone else is getting instantly approved...has anyone had delays in the approval?

nah it usually takes like 10-12 hours to get approved, esp when its your first time using a new cashout method. the bank wire method worked great for me, no fees to be seen!

I asked FTP what withdrawal option has lower fees between "premium bank wire" and "bank wire". Do they respond to emails before reading them?

Hello Benjamin,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

Premium Bank Wire withdrawals are often confused with other withdrawal options which allow you to transfer funds to your checking account and require similar account details from you. However, there are different limits in place for each method.

Premium Bank Wire withdrawals can be requested once per day and three times per week for amounts between $250 and $5,000. Premium Bank Wires are usually processed within 5 to 7 business days.

Bank Transfer withdrawals can be requested once per week for amounts between $100 and $1,500. Bank Transfers typically take 10 to 15 business days to reach your bank account.

If you'd like to withdraw an amount outside these limits, we recommend creating a payment processor account. For a complete list of your payment processing options, please visit our website at: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/withdrawal.php

Please note, if you do not see these withdrawal methods in your Full Tilt Poker Cashier window, then unfortunately, they are not currently available to you.

On a related note, we also offer wire transfer withdrawal services for our high stakes players who need to move large amounts of funds from their Full Tilt Poker account. Wire transfer withdrawals must be a minimum of $20,000 and are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days. For further details about wire transfers, please contact wiretransfer@fulltiltpoker.com.

When you request a Premium Bank Wire withdrawal through the "Cashier" window, a message advises you that your bank may charge a fee for receiving the transaction.

Please note that Full Tilt Poker does not charge any fees for Premium Bank Wire withdrawals, and we cover all fees associated with sending the transaction from our bank.

However, Premium Bank Wire withdrawals are sometimes routed through intermediary banks before reaching your bank, and these intermediary banks may charge a processing fee.

Each bank assesses its own transaction fee. Unfortunately, we cannot control which banks process your transaction, and we're unable to compensate you for fees incurred by these intermediary banks or your bank.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. We're always here to help.

Regards,

Mario

I didn't mention bank transfers in my email and I have a withdrawal option called "bank wire" with a limit of 1.5k to 10k.

Anyone use ING Direct Electric Orange checking for a bank wire? What are the fees? In their FAQs it says they don't accept international wires, which means to me that it would have to go through an intermediary bank for me to get a wire into ING Direct....which means I will probably get hit with exorbitant fees.

You obviously mean chase, whats the point of using a asterisk? Whats the point of hiding the banks name in general?

Local credit Union

requested 7/6 2am
approved 7/6 3 hrs later
Received 7/7

but
I got hurt in rakeback about 7-8 dollars
fee of 36 dollars.

But for a PLO100 player, this doesnt seem too bad for this fast service.
