Several months ago they banned all employees playing for real money at any time of the day. I've seen people use the game client during work hours, but it could have been on a test server or on the live server for play money

The players have waited long enough and we are sick of not hearing any public comments from Full Tilt.
I've already answered 2 questions that prove (to the extent possible) that I work for Full Tilt. I don't see why you think I'm making a mockery of the situation. I have a lot of sympathy for people who haven't been able to get their money back - that was my only motivation for starting this thread. I am not laughing at anyone.

Before 2011 they were allowed to play real money games, though I doubt they were allowed to do it during work hours (unless work-related)

A lot of the questions simply don't have concrete answers yet, e.g. I don't think anyone knows with near certainty how long repayments will take.

I'm sorry if you feel this has all been a big joke/tease, I've done the best I can with the information I have.

So please just write what you know in one post. Thanks
That's a fair point, maybe this wasn't the best format. I'll try and post all my info in a separate thread over the next couple of days.

OK, I think I've fulfilled my 30 minute commitment now. Going offline and will try and post my info in a single thread as this Q&A format seems to piss a lot of people off.

Ray, yes. Howard, no.

This is my very last post for tonight. If I have more information over the next few days I will return

- To those who think I am a fraud/troll: I did everything I could to validate my identity without compromising my anonymity
- To those who thanked me: you're welcome
- I didn't answer some questions, because I don't have definite answers (yet) and I don't think anyone else does. This is particularly true of "when will we get paid". I think it's better to say nothing than give false hope

Let me be clearer, I have seen no evidence whatsoever that any kind of cheating was happened. That includes access to hand histories. However, I cannot say with 100% certainty that no cheating has ever happened because I am not omniscient.

Noah has PMed me to see if I am willing to talk with Subject Poker, which I am. I will setup an anonymous Skype account, email him the details, and arrange a time over the next few days.

In hindsight, the thread title is a bit OTT. I can't figure out how to change it, but if one of the mods want to rename it "possible FTP insider reveals all that he knows" I'm fine with that.

GOODNIGHT

Here is a list of questions from this thread, that for the most part seem pertinent, but were not addressed (for w/e reason). I put this together for ease in finding for both ftpinsider, or the mods if they decide to make a dedicated Q&A thread.

FYI, I've agreed to talk about what I know in more details with Noah via Skype. I expect Noah will let you know in this thread what (if anything) he decides to do with the information I provide him with.
07-06-2011 , 06:39 PM
Sorry for the delay. I wasn't around earlier.

Here's the gist of what FTPInsider88 and I talked about:

1) Everything that he's saying comes from others in the company, and we both agree that people should treat this information cautiously. He says that there are lots of rumors floating around the company and suspects that management might be lying to him.

2) He says that the buyout is not a done deal as he said earlier. He says that they're in the process of due diligence, and that that is expected to take 2-3 weeks. (This is roughly what I've been hearing from most of my sources.)

He heard that the game client will only be up after this.

3) He says that they seem nervous about losing employees.

4) There's been a hiring freeze since BF.

5) He confirmed the planned move to the KGC.

Rather respond here than on twitter:

@NoahSD Were you satisfied he demostrated that he was in a pos. at PK to be privy to such information rather than passing on office rumors?
As I said, he's getting the information from higher-ups at the company. Both he and I are very skeptical of information from other FTP employees right now, mostly because lots of information gets telephoned and lots of people report their speculation as fact.

He's not directly involved in negotiations or anything like that.

@NoahSD How does #5 (planning to move to KGC) tie in with #2 (no return of poker room til post euro buyout)? Or is KGC plan scrapped?
He seems to think the KGC plan is scrapped, though I don't think he knows for certain.

Keep in mind that the KGC released a statement basically saying "Ummm.. We're not so sure that we're actually ok with this," so it's possible that the KGC plan simply isn't an option.

I wish people didn't just completely ignore it when both he and I tried to make very clear that all of this is just what he's hearing from higher-ups and certainly isn't guaranteed to be true.

He heard new things.

When I spoke to the WSJ reporter who's been covering this, she was very clear that her sources said the DOJ had not approved the deal. That was Friday morning.
