Thanks for making Full Tilt Poker your online poker room.

Good luck at the tables,

Anybody else get this offer? Do they think I have a high risk of being hacked or something?
i got it and replied with a pretty simple "yes". im not really sure how that gives up too much information or allows me to be hacked easier when they already know my screenname and email somehow....

I would not reply to any of these emails at all. I am not to familiar with email hacking. But it is to my understanding from briefly reading about it on threads somewhere that they can hack your email by only receiving an email from you. I think there might be some code in the email that you send out that helps them hack your email address or something. I would email fulltilt support before responding to any of these emails. And if you have already responded. I would definitely notify fulltilt and change your email for your poker acct temporarily or permanently.

There was another thread elsewhere in which regs were getting these emails, it's not a scam.

In other news, I bought mine with FTP's before I realized the Ironman store had them, fml.

excellent fail. you're not proving me wrong you're reinforcing what I said. how do you not see this? All I said is FTPs are worth what the best value you can get for them is.

also.. it's not an rsa token.

Considering that FTP doesn't seem to get anything right the first time around, including many of their software updates, etc., I'm concerned that the security token will have problems as well, at least at first (people being unable to log onto their accounts or some other problem I haven't thought of yet.)

I'm going to wait until I hear that it's actually working before ordering one.

Hadn't considered that, but with FT it's a distinct possibility.

Yes. Customer Service can change your account to no additional authentication so that you will only need your Player ID and Password to log in to your Full Tilt Poker account. To do this, email Authentication-Support@Fulltiltpoker.com with the following information:

* Your Player ID
* The reason that you wish to revert back to no additional authentication
* The answer to the secret question that you chose for your account
**************************************************

So yeah, there is no complicated background check or anything according to their website. Feel free to remove the 'lol' from your post, or direct it at yourself.

I'd love to hear comment from Doug on this.
