Do they send the key by courier like Pokerstars?

If so, mine will probably end up being returned to sender for lack of signature since I'll be away for the holidays.

Due to travel in the USA, I was going to give business to FT that I normally give to a Euro site, but I guess Pokerstars will be getting my rake instead since they were able to fulfill the key delivery.

Well...your math was a little off then, and I find it a bit hard to believe that FTP actually shipped you something within a week or so because they're normally ridic slow getting items out. But w/e. . Well you can always say you have one of the Samsungs from the list and it doesn't work. But I am sure it is not the problem with phone, it is either something with Internet settings of your mobile operator (you have anyone else SIM card from another provider to test?) or the problem on FT side. I think there were few posts in this thread with people unable to activate mobile app, will look around tomorrow.

I'd say my guess was pretty close.
It's nice that they are offering to cancel my purchase, but that doesn't really help my cause.
I'm able to install the app and run it, so i guess my phone is java enabled...

Nevertheless i'm quite pleased with ftp's support. Eventhough the response was just semi-helpful it was pretty fast - and they didn't lock my account.

I think i'll have to try my brother's SIM card (mobile flat) and see if i can activate it with that.

I have an HTC that isn't on the supported list, that has Java. So I got the mobile app and it worked just fine. So yeah, I think if your phone has the software needed, it's likely to work. I'd follow up.

what happens if your security token breaks or you lose it?

if u have to answer security questions, doesnt that defeat the purpose? or is there some time delay involved too?

It's in their FAQ about the tokens. You can have up to 6 tokens so you have backups if needed. If you lose the only one you have, you can lock your account and you have to mail in all kinds of stuff like drivers license etc to prove your identity, and they'll disable it.

I got the mobile APP and hooked it up yesterday because I was sick of waiting for the physical one I ordered on the first day.

When I get the Physical Token will I be able to set that up as my primary and use the phone as a backup?

* or does any body have any knowledge of how it works when you have more than one hooked up?

Just wanted to let people know that this issue has now been resolved, and it was resolved by taking off the additional authentication required. Took all in all about 30 hours from initial email to resolution, and about 3-4 emails back and forth.
