For everyone in the U.S. receiving their token, what delivery service is being used, so I know what to expect? I'm out of town on vacation, did they require a signature? If they do, I'd hate to miss it, and if they don't, I hate if it's sitting on my porch all weekend. This is bad timing if they all start arriving this weekend.

I've got a question about the security token / mobile phone. I've read several threads including the first two pages of this one, but since this has been out for a few weeks and I'm just now discovering it I thought someone might have figured this out already:

I'm considering getting the mobile app for my iPod, to be used until my physical token arrives. At that point I want to use the token as my primary security device, and the mobile app only as a backup in case I lose my token. However, I'm confident enough in my ability to not lose my token, that I don't want my ipod to actually be able to take over "control" without going through the authentication process. If someone were to steal my ipod and gain access to the security mobile application, I don't want them to be able to log in (given they had my other info).

So basically, if I buy the mobile app and use it in the meantime, can I later deactivate it and just have it on standby (and be able to activate it after the security questions) at a later time if needed? Or will it be generating the same codes as my token regardless?

I just got mine too, but haven't had time to activate it. You can follow the directions here to activate:

I ordered my security token over a month ago, and it still has not been received. Did anyone else have to wait this long?

I'm guessing a lot of us haven't received them yet. For those that did, did you receive the shipping notice from medallion, which FTP uses. Some people who have received didn't seem to get it, but some did.

just got the e-mail and went through all the steps.
works great with my htc hero! nice =)

the only scary part was, when i was not able to type in the required registration information into the phone app. just press the tinny little button on the right upper corner, chose the first option (System Softkey) and switch to the number input field. it works! and not another stupid card ^^

just don't really know whats happening if i want to upgrade my phone to a new OS version and have to delete all programs on it.. gonna make a backup for this case right know.

you can find this in the app on the phone after you registered it with the mobile id and pw. press the lupe (second icon), press the second icon "details". it's the digipass serial #

??? I'm pretty sure the security token hasn't been out for over a month. According to this thread, the token went live on November 3 which is less than a month ago. In the FTP Answers thread, FTPDoug said that people should start receiving their tokens at the end of November or the beginning of December, which seems to be the case.

what version OS of Android is your phone running? When I go to the token download page with my Droid I get a bunch of random stuff saying MIDlet-version blah blah blah. the link ends in .jad but it won't download. just a white page with random text.

Medals.
100 Medals = $20 or 5000 Pts = $25

I don't know anything about the mytouch, but I have the HTC 6800 which runs windows mobile 6. It wasn't listed as one of their 'supported' phones, but the mobile app works just fine on it.

100 Medals = $20 for sure, but why do you say 5k pts = $25? I feel they are worth less than $20 if you buy stuff with them, and then you still lose $6.75 from rb when you use them, so make their worth max $15. So I chose to pay with points, I think I got the right decision. Though I would like to hear more on this, it seems like many believe it's better to use the medals
