wow, thats was fast.

but i think tables with a higher minimum buyin would have done this even better. avoid the short stacks and not scare the casuals.

It's better, but mixing PL and cap games within the regular NL and deep NL tables is annoying.

Still better than two days ago though, but why can't they just put it back like it was before this fiasco?

And add a filter of course. No reason why I have to look at CL and PL games in the lobby if I never plan to play those b@stard games.

don't really understand this thread. when they implement filters, which is what everyone wants, a lot (most) people will want to filter out deep tables and no one will "accidentally" join or whatever ever again.

i preferred the way it was organized before this update. actually made sense.

Not true. Casual players don't care about or use filters. They just join the first available table, regardless of how deep it is. Many other players see no difference between 100 and 200 BB max buy-ins. That's why filters won't affect the numbers of deep tables much at all. If I'm wrong, and they do, I'll just move to Stars and play the 50 BB minimum tables there to avoid the shortstackers.

An admission of error is something you don't hear much online. Thanks for saying that.

Thanks FT. The games look well balanced now.
The only thing is you might want to seperate the PL tables from the NL tables.

Thank you again.

the odd part is the deep games usually aren't as good as regular ones, just no shortstackers.

Yup. But since I hate playing 2-street poker, that's enough for me.

I'm not convinced that people will use the filters to avoid deep tables. It is a possibility, but I wouldn't say that its definitely going to happen.

to avoid deepstack tables they would need a reason why to avoid deepstack tables...and once they go through this thought process they have to realize if they buy in for 70BB on deepstack tables they are playing 70BB poker.

The only ones who would filter it out are the players who want to buyin below the minimum .

+1. And when you want to play 70BB poker, it's much better when the table is not infested with 20BB players.

Anyone else have it back the way it was when this thread was made? Earlier today all the tables were all mixed up now they are all seperated again. WTF?

edit: just reopened the client and looks like its fixed
