PSA: As a temporary fix, everyone who plays mainly deep tables should start one every time he plays. If there is already someone sitting alone, play him HU and hope someone joins. This isn't nearly as good as having the tables mixed together, but it will work okay for now. Yesterday another reg and I got about 8 deep tables running at 1-2nl and they were all pretty good.

I love deep stack tables even though I only buy in for 100BB. I don't see the new lobby as being detrimental at all, but its obvious others (everyone disagrees) with me.

I actually like the new lobby look.

However, if there is a chance that even ONE fish will sit at a non-deep table because of the new lobby design, then I'm on the bandwagon of wanting to fix the lobby.

qft I started 9tables yesterday, some I played HU vs a reg some were HU with a fish all but 1 eventually filled and most were good

If I'm understanding this correctly (have not been on FT in a few days) they just separated the 100bb & 200bb tables. So instead of them all being mixed in 1 long list there are 2 lists. We just want them mixed back together, like it always was.. Right?

Well then +1 and email sent..

Glad I've been at stars the past few days, hopefully they can fix this before next month.. I don't think I can even get 6 decent tables open with all the short stacks. Kind of sad my only game selection for this year has been tables with less than 3 short stacks.. Never had that problem with Full tilt, I guess no deep tables = no play for me

To all of those who are up in arms over this,
What were you guys doing back when the deep tables only were at limits like 1.5/3, 2.5/5, 4/8 and so on? They was separation and everyone seemed to cope fine. Or was everyone at Stars?

Stars. I came to Tilt specifically for these; I'll go back to Stars if they aren't fixed.

Were they being screwed 2 days ago? We just want things to go back to the way they were then.

To all of you who dont see the relevance of this:
Why do you care? Why do you bother posting in this thread? Do you have some pathological need to defend FTP? Are you desperate to uphold the status quo, even though the status quo has only lasted 9 hours? Why do you feel compelled to comment on matters you either dont understand, or have no financial or other interest in? Do you find it intellectually stimulating to automatically take the opposite stance of the majority? Can you go **** yourself?

I was at Stars, but I was also playing micros then so it's irrelevant.

Did you guys consider maybe this was a business decision by FTP to screw their deep tables?

I mean, the money flow of the poker economy is pretty simple. Fishes put money in through deposits, and both the room and the winning regs get money out through rake and winnings respectively. When the regs are shortstackers, they exploit a somewhat small edge and therefore most of the money out goes to the rake. When the regs are deepstackers playing deep tables, they exploit a much bigger edge over the fishes and become much better competitors against the rake as beneficiaries of the poker economy.

If this is indeed a business decision and not just an unintentional screw up, then we should probably argue that while they will indeed get a larger part of the pie with this new policy, the pie will inevitably get smaller and smaller.

I don't really understand why anybody who plays on FTP (excluding SSers) would want deep and non deep tables seperated.

it allows me to bypass them much easier. it is a step towards the filters. it allows me to see how many regs are really playing in them. it seems to really put many people on tilt and i am sure that it passes onto the tables. it makes good players leave ftp.

Easier to sign up for all the deep tables with the new lobby. Thats why I like having them separated now.

"All" used to be ten or fifteen. "All" is now two. Yup, it's easier. I don't like easier in this context.

I have no idea why people think deep tables are so much tougher, they aren't. Yes there are good regs that only play deep tables, but fish still play deep tables and there are no SSers, which makes it easier to take advantage of fish. It's pretty tough to iso raise OTB with J9s after a fish limps the CO when you have 2 SSers in the blinds.
