Let's just focus on getting FTP to move the deep tables back to where they were before.

Note, FTP: I believe the general consensus is that deep tables being mixed in with non-deep tables is the best for the games. Please do this. I'm adding this because I wouldn't be that surprised if FTP "fixed" the problem by moving them to the top of the lobby by PL. Please don't do that.
I don't think anyone believes they are cheating, but they do have a mathematical edge. Some people prefer not to deal with them so they pick a room that forces people to buy in for at least 50 BBs. I'd like for it to be presented as a business decision to FTP. Currently no deep tables are running and many people will move to Stars because of this. I've been playing at Stars today and I'll just stay until it happens. Hopefully other people do the same. If it's not fixed in the near future I'll be withdrawing my roll from FTP. They know what it's going to take to keep my rake, so let's see if the free market does its work. Money talks, and a lot of the people here are the ones who contribute a lot of money to FTP. It's not a threat, I just am going to choose the option that makes the most sense to me. Right now the choice is clearly Stars. If FTP changes it back I'll be mixing and probably playing a bit more FTP than Stars. Ball's in their court now.

yea change this plz, i think fish get intimidated by the deep label or at least skip over them when they're all separate cause they just want to play "regular" nlh without understanding/caring what deep means.

another +1 to having them the way they were before from a 100nl fr player

Exactly. I can beat shortstacks if I have to, but I HATE two street poker--it's mind-killingly dull. I'd much rather avoid them and play the game I enjoy. If Stars provides that game and Tilt doesn't*, I'm cashing out and heading for Stars.

*Yes, I know Tilt still technically offers deep games, but with them being harder to find, their number has cratered.

OMFG I just got home from work ... this is terrible news! Whoever suggested this lobby change should be fired. Why this bull**** instead of cash game filters?

Please get this done, FTP. The old lobby was better.

Fix Cap games as well. They should have a completely separate tab or type.

Def should have their own tab. The lobby now is crazy cluttered, hopefully they fix all of that with the big cash filter in the next major update.

Need to fix the Deep Tables ASAP. Must put them together with the 100bb tables so the players can join them also.

this is terrible

the obvious way this should be done if they wanted to seperate these would be: 30bb CAP -> 100bb -> 200bb deep tables. This 200-30-100bb order makes no sense.

Over/Under on when this "update" gets fixed? Blah blah blah, Shortstackers suck blah blah blah. Bottom line is that FTP is going to lose some of the players that generate the most rake for the site. I mean they have to realize that the average 100NL/200NL FR reg generates between 6k and 12k a month in rake.

FTP is bunch or morons, I like how they have this big thread asking what people want where people ask for the same completely basic things for months and even years and then go ahead and do something stupid like this.

I've been playing on FTP for 4 years now and I think separating the deep tables from the non-deep is the only thing I've ever been really frustrated with from new updates. Please fix this FTP, don't disappoint your loyal customers.

Honestly, unless I'm missing something, I think this is a huge over-reaction. If I'm reading most of these posts right, the problem seems to be that now fish will never go to the deep stack tables since they are now separated out a little differently.

My experience has been that the fish are not buying in for the deep stacked amount ever in a deep table game. In fact at 75% of the deep games I sit at, it's usually no more than me and one other player who are full stacked. Occasionally 2 others.

So really the only edge you lose out on here is when some fish doubles up or otherwise gets into the deep range, and then you clobber him for a big stack. But 95% of the time, they buy in for 40-60 bb and that's that.

Obviously I'm in the minority here, since I think every single poster to this thread is of the "FT cost me $2 million today!" ilk, but no doubt I will soon be corrected shortly.
