Wow, well I just received the fastest reply ever from FTP support. I sent my email at 5:15pm and got this BS reply at 6:10pm. Great, I can stop payment on my check request another check that will take 5 years to arrive.

I know that any delay in retrieving your funds is frustrating and
concerning. That said, please understand that as your check has been
sent we are unable to control the speed with which you receive it. The
United States Postal service delivers our checks and they tend to
deliver within 15 business days. However, this is an estimate and
shipping times can vary.

Being an online business we constantly upgrade our systems to provide
better service to our customers. Unfortunately there are many aspects of
transition which can cause delays and technical issues. Each time we
experience an issue we are quick to work towards solving it. However,
there are always new issues to deal with. We do our best to solve any
problems that arise before they affect our players, but cannot always
succeed. I do apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced
during this time.

Scott, I do recommend waiting until early next week for your check to
arrive, but if you'd like, since your check can be deemed late today,
as 15 business days for shipping has passed, you may request a stop
payment on your check. They do take a couple of days, but once confirmed
we will be able to put the funds back in your account, allowing you to
request a new check.

Once again Scott, your patience and understanding is much appreciated
during this time. As previously mentioned we are currently working
towards reducing wait times with our processor and hope that we will
have the issue resolved in the near future.

Let us know if you would like a stop payment placed on your check for
$3000.00 and we will get hat request sent in for you. If you have any
further questions, please let us know.

the support answers my emails within 24 hours because i am polite and not a nasty idiot

I'm not quite sure what you are saying here. You were told that you would receive your check by May 16 and that it would be dated April 28, and that is what happened. You have received 4 checks since the problems started happening, along with your bank transfer.

However, I have been told the same information as you and have not received anything. Why would I not be upset? You say that you have gotten replies bc you have been polite. Well, I have sent many emails to FTP that are polite and they have not been answered in a satisfactory way, either in time or substance.

So, overall, you have received a decent portion of your withdrawals. I have not received any of mine and every date that I have been told that I would receive my money by has not been met. Yeah, I should be all happy.

What is wrong with you people sometimes? As consumers, we do have the right to expect decent customer service, and sometimes blasting into a company service agent can get results. Honestly, what did I have to lose by going off after not getting any results for the PAST MONTH!?!?!

I have been extremely polite with FTP, and have gotten responses... however, like AcesKay I am extremely frustrated b/c 99% of the responses from FTP have not been useful. Rather than giving us REAL INFORMATION -- ie definitive dates of when checks will be sent, or explaining what the problem has been, or actually doing something to help expedite the process of us receiving our money -- FTP simply gives us boiler plate answers that do not help us.

I have 4 $5k checks that were approved during the week of 4/13 (4/13 and 4/14) and 4/20 (4/20 and 4/21) that I have not yet received. I'm not concerned that I will not receive my checks , but it is a total pain in the ass that it has been this long. I have told Full Tilt I will not play at Full Tilt Poker as long as I do not receive my checks. Additionally, as the delay has been 1 month, I will add an additional 1 month of playing exclusively at other sites. I don't think this will help me get my money faster, but it makes me feel better. But if a significant number of people took this stand, they may actually do something about it.

This is the most response from Full TilT poker -- I find it disgusting b/c it's is completely boiler plate -- and giving me nothing that will actually help me to get my money more promptly or anything that is of any help. In fact they are basically telling me my withdrawal will be further delayed!

I usually take the side of defending FTP in most cases as businesses can and do run into difficulties beyond their control at times, not to mention that often enough the people who are complaining about something have a tendency to be unreasonable or even at fault for the problem.

However in this particular case (and this happened one time last year as well), FTP's response drives me absolutely insane. Every time I see one of those e-mails posted saying that USPS tends to take 15 business days to deliver mail I want to scream. From one side of the country to the other USPS rarely EVER takes more than 5 days to deliver mail. FTP seems to be stating that it's a fact they deliver in 15, which is a joke and to me that's where they lose absolutely all credibility.

I'm not even affected this particular time around as I've been pretty doomswitched over the past few months, but it still drives me insane seeing this.

I have never heard of the USPS taking more than 5 business days to deliver coast to coast, much less 15 business days. Where the hell do they get these estimates?

their website says 1-4 days for processing and allow 3-11 for shipping..but yeah, i havent really heard of anything taking longer than a week

OK, in light of the whole "35 business days to get you a check" policy, what is the best method to withdraw from full tilt these days? Are their bank wire transfer problems resolved?

I attempted a bank transfer yesterday and a message came up that the service is temporarily unavailable, so I had to request a check instead. I anticipate it'll probably be up and running again sometime soon but I wasn't going to wait.

Wish I knew what the deal was.

Just wanted to point out that bank transfer withdrawals hit MGR also, mine for $2.95. And that not all bank xfer delay have received a bonus - only SOME - which is terribly frustrating for those of us who didn't.

No, bank transfers are not functional currently. Withdrawals are trickling in on a 30 day delay, and FTP has lied time and again about the problems being resolved. Each day that goes by they get caught in more lies.

Requested 4/16.
Approved 4/18.
Received...not yet.

Also, did anyone who had a check withdrawal delayed but not a bank transfer delayed get the $300 bonus?

I had both a check withdrawal and bank transfer withdrawal that have gotten hung up and received no bonus monies. WTF?

I need to get some of my roll out of FTP in time for some WSOP action in the middle of June. Considering they have yet to respond to my request for a withdrawal from 3 days ago, anyone think I can get it on time?

LOL bonus. I have been through this over and over again with FTP as I said above, and documented in previous threads. They have never offered me anything for my frustrations and time besides a "thank you for your patience" form email. I have never been anything but completely polite with customer service, even after waiting a week for an email and months for my money after stop payments and reissuing of checks. Their disregard for their customers, check that, lack of basic common courtesy even, is unbelievable.

Well I emailed FT kinda bitching about why they take so long compared to stars, as I cashed out via check on the 30th of april and it was approved on the 2nd of May... and got this response:

an update from our processor and will pass it on to you as soon as I
hear from them.

I would like to reassure you that the majority of players receive their
checks without difficulty and the current delays are due to a temporary
situation.

Being an online business we constantly upgrade our systems to provide
better service to our customers. Unfortunately there are many aspects of
transition which can cause delays and technical issues. Each time we
experience an issue we are quick to work towards solving it. However,
there are always new issues to deal with. We do our best to solve any

As our checks are sent by a third party processor we rely on them to
provide us with the accurate shipping information. The day a check is
cut is usually the same day it is sent by the processor and this is the

that were cut on April 28th were held by the processor and not sent
until May 6th due to an internal error. To the best of my knowledge this
was a one-time occurrence.

We are committed to servicing our American players and understand that
recent developments have been a major inconvenience. We are working to
expand our deposit and withdrawal options to include more payment
methods for our players in the U.S.

I am happy to inform you that we do not charge our players for the
shipping of their checks. If you are seeing a charge from your affiliate

we can only pray the USPS doesn't change their shipping estimate to 37 days.

That Damn USPS, it is all their fault.

Even if my check "mailed on April 28th" wasn't postmarked until May 6th.

Just to let everyone know how great FT is handling the check situations, I had requested a check on April 30th, approved on May the 2nd. I emailed yesterday to find out that my check was now "currently in queue to be shipped". So 3 weeks times has passed, and FT hasn't even sent my check that was approved 3 weeks ago. Awesome

april 23... NOT received
april 29... NOT received
May 12... received the 17th
May 13... received the 17th
May 12... Not received

obvious weird order, but they are coming
there are two processors
one is very diligent and the checks processed there come within days
one takes foreeeeeever
i am thinking the second MAY 12 one that I have yet to get will either be here in the next day or so, if not then who knows...
the april 23, and 29 ones i have no idea
and i withdrew yesterday and it is in processing not yet approved

so in conclusion
they are coming... at some point for sure... both processors are clearing in normal time at the bank
just depends which one u get and when u get it
good luck to me and to the rest of you all waiting
they will be here!
