I am asking because I cashed out three more paper checks this weekend all approved within 24 hours, and I am wondering if I should expect them in the time it used to take ... which was about a week from approval to doorstep...
I hope someone has gotten a check that was cashed out and approved in May
thank u
I had one approved on 5/10. I'll post when it gets here.

Also just wanted to add that I requested another one on 5/13 and 24 hours later it's still processing. The one I requested on 5/9 was approved in less than 24 hours.

so does anyone know why we haven't received a bonus from dealing with the exact same issue as the people who withdrew by bank transfer?

When you said 4/46, it wasn't obvious to me that you meant 4/16. For all I knew, you might have meant 4/4, 4/6 or 4/26. I'm not a typo-inspector, I just wanted to know which it was to compare that date with my date of approval to give me a better idea of when to expect mine.

Exerpt from my 4th or so email to FTP:

That check was requested weeks ago and has not yet arrived. You guys have done a terrible job dealing with your customers regarding this situation. One of your key concerns should be getting your customers their money - quickly. And now you are charging me $12 against my MGR for each check I request. Terrible. I am not sure why I should leave any money on your site and not start playing exclusively on PokerStars where they respond to their customers quickly and treat them fairly. Please pass my displeasure on to someone who cares.

We take MGR hits for cashing out via check?!? Am I the only one that didn't know this? Have they always done that or is it a new policy? That is ****ing absurd!!!

Ok so i want to make sure i understand this correctly.....

BANK TRANSFERS

does not affect MGR
players were lied to
payments were delayed

PAPER CHECKS
takes $12 MGR per check
players were lied to
payments were delayed

Now can anyone tell me with a straight face why the Bank Transfer people received a $300 bonus and the check people received nothing?

What's the deal Doug/Sean?

Because not all bank transfer people got bonuses.

Hello XXXXXX,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

According to our records, your check for $XXXX.00 was mailed by our
check processor on April 17, check number XXXX.

Regular United Stated Postal Service (USPS) delivery takes approximately
15 business days, and it has been 22 business days since your check was
sent.

We recommend placing a stop payment on your check as the estimated
delivery time has passed. If you would like a stop payment on your
check, please let us know and we will submit the request on your behalf.
Our check processor will confirm the status of your check, and your
funds will be returned to your Full Tilt Poker account once the stop
payment is complete.

Thank you for your patience, and if there is anything else we can do for
you, please feel free to ask.

Regards,

Jessie
Full Tilt Poker Support

------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the 3rd time in the past year that I have had to place a stop payment on a check from Full Tilt Poker and I haven't played there in 6 months. I am just trying to drain my account and will never play there again. I strongly encourage everyone else here to do the same.

There was obviously an issue with the check processor around the middle of April. It probably required them to get the money back from them and use a new processor which I am sure took significantly longer than checks sent out with the new processor from the beginning. I am not excusing their lack of communication but I think that was the issue. I don't think people realize how many hoops the online sites are jumping through right now to get a stable consistant processor for online transfers and check withdrawls. I think they don't want to let customers know either, but they sure could do a better job to communicate delays even if they don't go into specifics of what is actually going on.

I had check withdrawls on the following dates:
initiated 4/25 received 5/14
initiated 4/28 received 5/8
initiated 5/3 received 5/13

I have 2 other checks initiated on 5/7 and 5/12 that I have not received yet (not that it has been too long or anything).

This is all probably true. However, I received an email from FTP support giving me the check number that my withdrawal was supposedly sent out on. In that same email, it said my check was MAILED on April 28. It is now May 16 and I still don't have my check. So, 1 of 2 options happened. 1) FTP lied about my check actually being mailed out, because even if the USPS is still using horse and buggy to deliver the mail my check would have arrived by now. 2) Maybe a USPS truck crashed and burned and all of the mail is lost forever???? I don't ****ing know.

However, the email that I received from them said my check was mailed on April 28 and if I didn't receive it by May 16 then I should email them and they would be HAPPY to assist me. So here is my email that I'm hoping they will be HAPPY to receive:

Hello,

The current date is May 16. Please see the previous emails to learn what I was supposed to receive on May 16. OK, I will tell you since you are probably too ****ing stupid to know. My withdrawal (01D02703) for $3000 on check number 11993 which you claim was mailed out via USPS on April 28. Nevermind the fact that it is absurd that a withdrawal that was requested on April 16 and approved on April 18 was not sent until April 28, I still have not received the ****ing money.

However, through the wonderful world of the internet, I, being an active participant in the 2+2 community, know that many people who withdrew via paper checks WELL AFTER I placed my withdrawal on April 16 have received their money. Please do not give me anymore bull**** dates about how your processor has "experienced further unexpected delays" and you are "confident that the check will arrive on [insert random day a few weeks in the future]" because that is simply unacceptable.

Please tell me, exactly WHAT THE **** IS YOUR COMPANY DOING?!?!?!?!??!!??!?!

Could you run a multi-million dollar company any more poorly? I mean, how is it possible for so many people to not have their money paid out in a timely fashion, yet you are accepting deposits instantaneously without any trouble.

Also, I am glad that I am valued as a customer. Oh wait, I am obviously not valued as a customer. For some reason, despite the fact that I have $3100 ($3000 paper check, $100 bank transfer) in limbo somewhere between my Full Tilt account and my real bank account, I was not deemed to have been "affected" by the processor problems, and therefore did not receive your pathetic attempt at appeasing the customers with a $300 bonus that had to be cleared before it was released. Never mind the fact that PokerStars gave their players whose cash outs were affected a 20% bonus of their pending cash out.....NO STRINGS attached!!!!

If I ever do receive my money, I will have to seriously consider my options to take my play to one of your competitors on a more permanent basis. I also know that I am not the only person who feels this way. Full Tilt has been my home poker site ever since the nonsense of the UIGEA passing in October 2006. I love your software, the games, and up until this point, very much appreciated the speed and accuracy with which my cash outs were handled. However, the fact that I rely on poker as my full time income necessitates the fact that I can actually receive my money LESS THAN 1 ****ING MONTH AFTER I WITHDRAWAL IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please, for ****'S sake get my money to me in a timely fashion, and DO NOT LIE TO ME, OR ANY OF YOUR CUSTOMERS ANY-****ING-MORE!!!!!!!!!!
