umm i requested mine on the 24th of April, and they canceled the check last night and said they are putting the money back in my account. Should I just try a bank transfer instead?

Note that one of the most recent posts in that thread was about how bank transfers haven't been paid in a month, and wondering if they should be trying checks instead.

the postmark on my envelope says May 6th.

Check requested April 28, approved April 30. Today is only business day #7 and it says up to 15. I've never had to wait more than a week (ie 5 business days) from approval from any site in five years.

My mom says thank you for the great Mother's day gift

i'm having an incredibly difficult time trying to understand this from full tilt's perspective. Why did they Lie?

I sent this email to Full Tilt a few moments ago:

I received my check today. Indeed the check was DATED 4/28/2008, but the ENVELOPE was stamped by their Hasler postage machine on 5/06/2008.

I have this envelope in my possession and would be glad to mail it to you if you so desire.

The United States Postal System does NOT take 15 business days to deliver a letter. In fact it took 3 days to deliver this letter from your processor.

Until this situation is resolved I am very hesitant to deposit on your site. I have been a customer for a long time and play almost exclusively on Full Tilt.

Seriously, Support bending the truth is very low on my list of concerns at this point. Who cares, we're getting our money now, and I never believed them to start with. I just hope that moving forward there are no further delays.

Full tilt has treated me poorly many times, but this is a whole new level of disrespect.
This is completely unacceptable.
