Sux. Again I've never had this problem but if I continue to hear that FT pymt processors are bouncing checks I will solely just play on Stars. This seems like FT and the pymt processors are involved in some elaborate kiting scheme that will eventually end in the processor going bankrupt and FT losing business from regular players.

Here's the interesting thing though. Last month my FT check took 17 business days, but my Stars check from the same exact processor took 10 business days.

So I requested checks from both sites on 9/30 to see which would get here 1st. Stars check, same processor again, got here in 10 bd. If FT check ends up coming from the same processor again, then that leads me to believe there's something on the FT end causing the extra delay, no?
Most of my ftp checks come in less then 7 days.

My check from the 28th was postmarked the 18th and came yesterday or today - pretty much 15 business days later.

It's from a US company in the mid-west, so... ...wish me luck. ACH from here on out.

1) Is it true that checks are now being drawn from the US as opposed to CAN?

2) Has ***anyone*** ever tried cashing at a check cashing location or Walmart? Sure there are fees, but I believe they know right away whether the check is good or not. In other words, you won't have to wait for days, wondering if the check bounced.

3) Are any US players ***not*** having problems cashing checks? Seems like everyone on here is, but it still might just be a small %.

Wow, someone needs to clean up this thread. I know this is tough guys and all but it doesn't help posting processor names, bank names, etc that checks are coming from on a public forum.

Here's an alert currently posted by a PPA board director in the Legislation forum, I'll let him say it so you guys don't think I'm being a dick.

REMINDER: Do not post names of payment processors, banks, etc.
Please do not post names of payment processors or banks in your posts. They rarely (if ever) add any value to posts.

Deposited: 10/18

The money is listed as in my account as of 10/20. Before I deposited I sent an email to Full Tilt cashier on 10/15 to make sure the check was good before I cashed it. When I didn't hear back I went ahead and deposited it anyway (the bank listed was US). It also had FT on it. I will post if there turns out to be any problems with it.

BTW, Full Tilt has still not responded to my email about the check.

Just tried to make a withdrawal via check and a popup came up and said

"Due to technical restrictions the Check withdrawal option is currently unavailable in your state.

In the meantime, we recommend that you use Bank Transfer or Premium Bank Wire to withdraw funds from your account."

I'm in WA obv, but that looks like a bad sign.

Edit: Also thanks MikeHaven for cleaning up the thread and getting rid of the bank names and payment processors.

About 3 hrs after I sent an email w/a scan of the bounced check and my bank account info ftp credited my ftp account for the amount of the check, the $5 returned check fee, and another $10. Great cs imo.

Seems like a lot of people are getting the "Due to technical restrictions the Check withdrawal option is currently unavailable in your state" message. I got it. (You can figure out what state I'm in if you know your state birds.) Fortunately bank transfer seemed to work out okay for me.

Checks used to only take a week or two at most but the last two I've requested all have taken upwards of a month. What gives?

Today is the 15th bd on my 9/30. By reading the end of Sept. cashouts lately though, I'm expecting Mon or Tue. I'll probably give it till the end of next week before cancelling. But if it comes to that, I'll probably just remove all my money off Tilt and save myself future headaches.

Seems like a lot of people are having issues, but I don't see any specific reasons as to why this is occuring. Judging from recent posts my check should arrive any day now, but hopefully it won't bounce on me like others have been experiencing. Should I e-mail FTP to make sure the check is good? I mean, I would think they would e-mail me if for some reason it wouldn't, but you never know.

Occasionally the processors FTP uses get shut down. That's really the only 'reason' for the check problems as far as we ever know on our end.

You can always email FTP about your check, but if it's from late Sept it's probably fine. Generally the best use of this thread is to keep tabs on the range of dates that bad checks come out so you know if you should be worried or not.

And no, FTP won't email you about your check being bad until after you've cashed it most likely. If you ever have one coming and it was requested during a range people are posting that they've had them bounce from, you can email tilt for confirmation before cashing it. (assuming you catch it in time. If not, they'll compensate you for the bounced check fees if you ask. They used to just give you $100 no questions asked, but I guess that got too expensive for them...)

Huh? You mean if Tilt has a check that is taking forever that you think it is going to bounce so you email them to cancel it? There's no fee for this as far as I know?

Got it (9/30) today, 16th business day, which is fine I guess. But it's just as I said above about the processor. Received Stars check from 10/10 also today and Stars check from 9/30 a week ago. All the same. So it's gotta be something on the Tilt end that's adding the 2nd week. If not, someone from Tilt call Stars and find out what they're doing better.
