FWIW (probably nothing)... This is the email response I received today when I emailed FTP last week and said WTF?! after receiving and depositing a bad check.

We can confirm that there was an issue with the processor used to send the checks which unfortunately was out of our control. Once we received confirmation of this issue we immediatly contacted all affected players.
We appreciate your situation and completely understand how this issue has affected you. We have taken action so these experiences do not occur again in the future.
