I got a PM from someone who named the same processor/bank that my check is. I'm checking the Yahoo finance article now.

Edit: Disregard, the person pm'ing me was asking me if the check was good. I don't know. It does not appear to be one of the processor's named in the Yahoo article, but I'm not sure how accurate that artice is. I am emailing FTP to ask.

I just got the following email from Full Tilt regarding my check (which I requested on June 3, and recieved yesterday):

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.
Your checks for $XXXXX and $XXXXX were not affected by a recent issue, which has since been resolved, with one of our check processors.
If there's anything else we can help you with, please feel free to ask. We're always here to help.

I just tried to request a check and it was denied. It said to reference this transfer number {%transfer_ix%}???? I will email them, looks like they have the check withdrawals stopped right now.

i just had a check approved last night fwiw that i requested the night before.


edit: also just had a wire approved in under 24 hours.

So how long are bank transfers/e-checks taking to receive now? Should I request a check or an e-check, which is faster?

Ya. Even worse that there is a limit on how many checks you can request in a certain period. I've been running hot, and I have no way of getting money off quickly enough (more of a beat than a brag iyam).

b/c the new processor only does 2.5k increments?

or

they think 2.5k transactions are less likely to cause trouble

I don't know. I deposited the check in my bank account today (with a live teller). I will write a trip report in 10 business days as to whether or not it bounces.

Hmm, this blows. Honestly, would it be a good idea to take a bunch of money off now, in light of the freeze? I am not one to freak out or try to instill fear but idk and would appreciate thoughts.

Just went back into my FTP account after 4 years, when I go to deposit their isn't even a button to attempt an Echeck deposit. Can someone confirm if FTP isn't accepting echeck deposits at this time and I'm just not missing something on the interface?
