+1 Very good point here.Plus it lets people who would otherwise not be paying attention know that we are close to the final table.Hand for hand at 10 makes the most sense.

I don't care what level of poker that you play. Poker sites cater to the masses. You think the casual player or fish care about where a deep table is placed? The only people complaining are the (make a living off fish) reg players. Why should a site cater to you? Oh I know, because you generate a lot of rake and the site would make more money.

Because a site that does not cater to its regs becomes a low volume site and low volume sites stop attracting fishes and die.

Geez so much trolling for a ftp update thread.

Also I don't think some people in this thread understand how the business model for a casino works. Obv they have no idea which customers require the most catering to or the food chain in a poker room.

You don't understand how a casino works. If a casino moves their tables, they are not going to move them back because of a few whiners. A business makes business decisions. Live with it or find another place to play.

Speaking of business: Your voice will be heard more loudly pulling your money from a site than mindlessly complaining on a forum.

Complaining in a thread read by Full Tilt reps is not mindless. And Walker, if the deep tables had been placed first and it was the regular tables that dried up, don't you think the shortstack players would be complaining just as loudly? And you know what? I'd agree with them. We just want fairness, something that seems completely foreign to your mindset.

Also make sure you e-mail suggestions@fulltiltpoker.com and support@fulltiltpoker.com about fixing deep tables guys.

And to the rest of you: multitabling grinding regs are much more profitable to sites than fish who deposit once or twice and leave. They also originally mixed deep and non-deep tables together a year or so ago because deep tables weren't running enough: it was obviously a brainfart that they switched them apart again rather than a consciously chosen decision.

How come the email FTP sent out this morning shows $0.25/$0.50 ante tables in the picture? I can't find them in the lobby.

D. Improved Network Communication - Even though this isn't a "feature" that you can see when you log in, this is probably the thing that will make the biggest difference in everyone's day to day playing experience. Basically, the way the game client communicates with the server has been completely re-written. It's easiest to notice the difference when you flip back and forth between, say, the Hold'em and Omaha lobbies or when you open a very large tournament like the Double Deuce. What used to take an annoyingly long time is now much faster. The worse your internet connection is, the more of a difference you'll notice.
So, just to get this straight, the 2 seconds it took to switch between the omaha and holdem lobbies was an annoyingly long time, but adding a huge delay between the time you click on a table and the time it shows the players sitting, that doesn't bother anyone? I basically never experienced any lag at all when using Full Tilt before this update, now i'm finding that scrolling through the tables is very laggy/unresponsive, this is supposed to be a major improvement? It used to be blazing fast, now it seems to be about 4-5x slower than it used to be

Personally, I never found the small delay when switching from omaha to holdem to be annoying, at all, but I am finding the delay between the time i click on a table and the time it shows whos in it to be VERY annoying, am I the only one who notices this?

The F do

Please fix the deep tables, they are basically nonexistant now. We don't need to have them in separate catagories, Stars has perfected this, I mean you had it the same way as them and you went and ****ed it up.

The deep tables are basically the best thing that has ever been born and you just throttled it while it slept.

FIX

TEH

DEEP

TABLES!

Hello Nick,

Thank you for your email.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the recent separation of the deep stack tables from the regular tables in the ring game lobbies. Please understand it was not our intention to isolate the deep stack games.

As a direct result of feedback like yours, we are working on a software update for later this week to change the way tables are sorted in the lobbies. After the change, when you sort by "Stakes", there will be no separation of the game types at all. This will mean all game types at each stake level will be listed together, including the deep stack and regular tables. Should you decide you would like to separate the game types again, you will be able to do so by selecting the "Type" column.

If you'd like to recommend additional features or improvements, please feel free to visit our Online Poker Forum at http://pokerforums.fulltiltpoker.com and post your comments under "Feedback and Feature Requests".

Good luck at the tables, and if you have any further questions, please let us know.

Regards,

Doug

I like this update. Synchronized breaks and the start of ante cash games which we hopefully get in a month or so at mid and small stakes.

Funny that the best update in a while is the one getting the most complaints

whatever the F full tilt did with there new update it just F up'd all the deepstack games.

When i checked the player count at ft after they did this new update they have dropped of a few thousand. Im assuming this is cause alot of deep stack players have moved to pokerstars.
