Thanks - it was born from years of having the p*ss taken out of me.

Sick - your question about the BBC show Watchdog: the link to the web-address is already posted and you should send your story there. When I submitted, I acknowledged that they have probably had other people make them aware of the story, but tried to let them know that this is a big issue and needs to air.

If they decide not to run it, the decision will be probably be based on the fact that they don't have enough British punters to give the story the domestic flavour that the show's producers will need. They may think that becausethe company was based in Malta, the perpetrator is Norwegian and most of the victims were non-UK, it doesn't fit the show's remit.

(In the UK, newspapers report international accidents with: CRASH LATEST: TWO BRITS REPORTED TO BE INCONVENIENCED; THOUSANDS OF NON-BRITS PERISH.)

So, if there are any Brits out there that are personally affected by the Eurolinx scam, they need to contact Watchdog immediately and tell their stories of inconvenience.

This program has to be made.

Certain traumas need to be treated with more than a nice cup of tea.

Here's the page:

If people are "too lazy" to think for themselves what to write, well, I guess they don't really want their money.

Did anyone fill this out? None of these links seem to work anymore.

Any news on who is handling the liquidation and/or which regulatory authority is conducting an investigation?

Hi!

Had my money on BoB and recieved this a few days ago from LGA.

" The Authority has concluded the investigation into Alpine Malta Ltd. (BetOnBet.com) casino and poker licenses based in Malta.

The Authorities investigation findings have been transferred to the Malta Police who are now proceeding with an investigation into Alpine Malta Ltd (BetOnBet.com).

At this stage the Authority is awaiting the Malta Police to conclude and advise the outcome of their investigation process which will then be made public and you will be notified accordingly."

So it seems like they hopefully will prosecute the CEO J Remme

Peddano, seems like you are the only one getting anywhere. This is awesome. Please keep all of us posted if you hear anything more, including if their investigation is extending to Eurolinx and the other sites.

I have many contacts in the press/TV/radio. Mostly in Finland but some in Sweden, England and the States. If someone could write good cliff notes that I could send to them I'd be happy to do so.

I think they'll pay more atenttion to it if it comes from someone they know.

(FWIW I didn't play at Eurolinx)

Everyone should know that, to the best of my knowledge, the BBC's Watchdog show is unlikely to act upon the information we have sent them. It has been three weeks and I haven't received anything.

It's probable that they have decided it is not relevant enough to the UK population.

Given that BetOnBet was a well established brand in Scandinavia and the scam's perpetrators were Norwegian, it might be worth approaching a consumer rights programme based in one (or all) of those countries, especially now that the investigation has progressed to the police.

Does anybody have any idea on the proceedings regarding the EL liquidation? MicroGamin, as usual, is doing its best to keep its head in the sand and not respond to anything at all...

Keep up the fight guys, we can't let these kinds of people get away with stuff like this.

Has anybody asked how a known former criminal was allowed to be put in charge of a poker skin on this network? They just hand out skins to anybody and don't keep tabs on their finances?

Basically, we can start a skin with enough money on MG and just rip people off a year or two later with no recourse?

well it happening twice within a year is a pretty clear indicator that they couldnt care less, dont you think?

Just a thought as i have not read the whole thread, however, anyone who deposited by credit card or debit card there within the last 6 months can claim the money back surely?

Let the bank stand some of the losses.

He meant if you used credit card to make recent transactions with eurolinx there is a good chance the bank/card supplier will stand for those losses. I saw a swedish player there got his $500 refunded.

I hope there will be some news about this soon, but I really doubt anything will happen considering how things gone with Tusk. We should all start some campaign or something against playing at microgaming, not that it will happen or be effective even if it did, but I'd love for them to feel their business go down the drain for treating the customers like ****.
