Ummmm ... I see you know a lot more about EL than us 'players'. What else can you tell us? Please!

You can PM what you know if you like.
Did you work for EL or know someone that did?
Did Jo Remme know they were going under and if so for how long?
How much did Microgaming know what was going on?

Where did all the money go? Has Jo Remme explained himself to you guys working for him? Did he admit himself of not paying taxes, or did you find out yourself?

We found out ourselves ! We asked him and avoided the question... also avoided the question of where the money gone??? He was arrogant and extremely distant of the problem... If I recall well BOB was bought in February this year... yes BOB license should be in Malta !!!!

Well, we can make all type of assumption on where the money is ... unfortunately we have to way for the liquidators to start the procedure and do the necessary searches in order to know the truth... I have no idea about the MG position re back up of players... howver, i doubted very much they will be of any help... we have worked at Eurolinx thinking that the EL product was licensed in curacao, now it seems that it was not the case... we need to make some further investigations on that. BOB is definetly licensed in malta, but i had lately overheard that the company had some issue with LGA....
Sorry for being so vague, but we have very few information... as soon as we will know more, we will keep on posting!

Finally someone who has new info, this is good. May I inquire what your position was in the company?

you don't have to agree, just do a google on playbanks, premierbet, wauwbet, betchance or goldvictory (and that's just off the top of my head; there were others). It may sound strange but Curacao is also part of the EU by the way, so no difference there.

and BoB was indeed bought by Eurolinx in February. The theory I read that was done to get access to new player funds sounds very plausible to me.

Sorry for all those who were affected. Does anyone have any idea as to the total dollar amount of players money lost on all sites yet?

Questions for mee:

Did they keep the players money in a separated account like it should be confirm regulations?

Why did you guys send out first-deposit bonus emails a few days before the lockdown. Didn't you see this coming at all? Was this promotion enformed by top level managers?

Is it more than plausable to asume that Jo Remme scammed his employees/his playerpool with premeditation? Which makes it clear that he's away with all the money, never to be found again?

When did you guys got the news about the lockdown, and was it told personally by Jo Remme? Any idea if he suddenly left the country?

Just smth i want to get off my chest.. From a personal point of view, it's so hideous to me that guys like Remme can say alive and live to tell about it. He was known for this reputation (was busted on pyramid shemes before he started EL) and yet he was allowed to create such a big business? Anyway just like with Absolute and Tusk, the owners ran a way with a big chunk of the money that is never to be found again and they are now living in wealth. I think it's about time that justice is brought to Jo Remme, not only for this case but also to set an example that things like these will not go unpunished. There are guys who lost the biggest part of their roll online, into 150K and more. I would not need to think hard what to do with the money i had left on other sites.

Eurolinx licence is issued by Curacao Interactive Licensing N.V not Cyberluck.

I would guesstimate that a minimum of 2million USD$ is gone

To my knowlege, the money deposited by the players was not kept on separate accounts.
Staff was aware of the player withdrawal problems, but JO Reme has always denied the problem and always made us beleive that it was temporary cash flow problem due to the investments he had made into BetOnbet and Linx Casino. Promotions were sent out on friday as none of the staff were aware of the situation. We were told Microgaming was coming in our offices to help us out ! After 3 hours spent in our offices, MG decided to close us down. Most of the staff (inckuding me) was advise by phone by the office manager and we were called for a meeting monday at 10h30.... Jo remme seems to be still in Malta and we are working to try to keep him here....

We will know that as soon as we get the report from liquidators... we really can not estimate as everything was done behind our back.... we were trusting our employer as much as you were trusting the reputation of the room... we all hope that this, will not leave a bad patch on our future careers, as we always gave the max we could in order to keep good service to our players and affiliates, but also the company running and profitable....

If Remme still actually is in Malta, he could be in trouble. Could be a very similar case to the arrest of the Goldvictory CEO a few months ago (a.o. http://www.recentpoker.com/news/Dimi...osos-2843.html). To stay wouldn't be a very smart move of him though.

Mee!

We absolutely do appreciate your help, please keep on posting, and answer to all of the questions below in a detailed manner!

- Did other people (i.e: Jackie Gatt) know about the sure and close bankruptcy?

- what is the relation between EL and HBM? (http://www.hbmgroup.com/index.html)

(I am asking that, because it seems now, that EL didnt have any proper license at all, but I was advised by the http://www.curacao-egaming.com/, that somehow HBM is their license holder. I wrote to HBM, they answered me not denying at all their connection to EL.)

- How do you know that Jo Remme is still in Malta?

- Did u notify the police in Malta about the scam, is anybody trying to catch Jo Remme?

- Do you know about any criminal procedure started against Jo Remme?

- What do u think, for how long MG knew about the depth of the problem? What do u think about MG's responsibility? (both from the ethical and legal point of view)

To everybody: It is obvious that our ONLY chance if Jo Remme will be caught WITH the money
