Error with Full Tilt Error with Full Tilt

After the new Full Tilt update I was unable to connect to the lobby. So i decided to uninstall and then reinstall Full Tilt.
When trying to access the install setup I receive this error message:
>SetupNew/setup.cpp (135)
PAPP:
PVENDOR:
PGUID:
$
@Windows XP Service Pack 3 (2600) Non IE/Netscape 11.0

Anyone know what this means and how I would be able to fix it?
Thanks
Evan

you are getting this message because the download didn't fully complete.

I believe the solution is to re-download and try again

Its definetly not downloading it compleatly.

Try downloading it using a different browser.. looks like it might be a IE error, try with firefox or chrome.

I cant think of anything else that would give you this error

Last edited by soccket00; 10-16-2009 at 08:34 AM. Reason: it says non-IE, so try using IE if your not already..

Not to hijack the table but I've noticed another really, REALLY annoying bug since last nights update:

When I multitable every now and then a table steals focus. It stays on top even if it is my turn to act at another table. If I manually click on the other table it switches back as soon as I perform an action.

The only way to resolve this is to close that particular table. Anyone else getting this?

If I'm 4 tabling I don't care, but it is incredibly annoying when I've got 16 tables up and I have to manually click each one in the task bar every time an action comes up.

Uninstall fulltilt by using Revo Uninstaller. Reinstall FT.

It's the only program I use to make sure any programs I want to uninstall are wiped clean from my system.

What exactly is revo uninstaller and what does it actually do?

Not that difficult to do a search. It's a free uninstaller program that eliminates any leftover files, folders, and/or registry keys on your computer for other programs you no longer want.

I finally got it downloaded by deleting some internet files and then downloading it again with IE instead of Firefox.
But now when I try to connect to the server is goes straight to "trying again" and I am never able to connect.
I checked to make sure Full Tilt was allowed by my Windows firewall and it was. So what could be the problem?

Figured it out, just had to uninstall Norton Internet Security and everything started to work. Weird because Norton expired like a long time ago on my computer.
