Me and a couple of friends have been playing 45 person tourneys and chopping our winnings...

Is full tilt okay with this? Has any1 had any direct or indirect experience with this?

Before the tourney, we each agree to have 33% in each other...If we are at the same table, we don't tell each other hands/collude etc.

You can do what you like with YOUR money

you're not chopping -- you're trading pieces with your friends. as long as there are no shenanigans, it's not against the spirit of the ToS. i'm not sure about the letter of the ToS, however.

my guess is that a red flag will be raised if: 1) you only play in sngs together, and 2) you swap money right after the sng. even if ftp finds you "innocent", it's not worth the hassle of getting your accounts closed for an undetermined amount of time while they investigate (imo).

It's fine to swop % with each other as long as it doesn't effect how you play vs each other.

e-mail Tilt and wait two weeks for them to respond.

Seriously though better to ask them in advance, so they can tell you whther or not continuing will get your account locked.

This sounds ok, but I'd just email them in case... (prolly doesn't help though, but whatever)

As long as you're not colluding, like obviously soft-playing each other, things should be fine I guess.

this seems only plus ev (for you) if your friends are better than you are, in this case stake them to play higher

In a 45 man SNG with 3 of you swapping you are just going to be on the bubble too much together and end up softplaying.

I would politly decline the offer and just play for yourself (plus if your all +ROI players your better off avoiding each other too, playing in the same one reduces all your ROI's)

I don't know where the cutoff is for a 3 person team perfectly swapping their winnings but it can't be in a tournament where they are more likely to play at a same table than not.

You're better off each specializing in a different type of SNG and selling pieces of action to each other that way since FT has changed the SNG setup so it's a lot easier to Multitable now. One example would be:
A plays Single table SNGs
B plays 18-man SNGs
C plays 45+ man SNGs / MTTs for the big score and HU SNGs to finance these shots.

this seems really stupid and pointless. If you are all the same skill level just play on your own. If someone is better than the other 2 they should be playing different games. having a team of 3 players in a 5 tables SNG is ******ed and I for one would not want to play in a game where this was going on. What happens if you are down to 8 players and all 3 of you remain? It would be a dumb spot to be in and I wouldnt believe you if you said that this wouldnt effect your decisions (towards other players and each other) on the bubble. I play these games on FTP a decent amount so please stop this I'm going to have to pay attention for this now.
