OK so after complaining to live support and then on here, a chat rep saw this thread and got in touch with support, I received this email today:

I think the 70 bucks is a token gesture obviously. I think something unfair or at least unjustifiable happened for the jump to be an 315,000 point increase. Still at least I got some kind a response, basically their algorithm can and will impact you in wildly random ways and there's nothing you can do about it(except lose more probably).

How Pokerstars are allowed operate this kind of vague bonus system with no transparency by the regulators, is anyone's guess.

Everytime I go up one level it goes back down the next day. I opened over 30 bronze chests in the last few months, im basically running in circles, upgrading to silver chests is not possible.

Things aren't all bad. Busted my whole roll last week. Replenished it with Stars coins. Just earned my latest diamond chest and got 2000 stars coins + $55 cash, also got my last zombie which is supposed to be another $150 on November 1st, and I got the Ghost earlier which should be another $30.

Oh, and my next diamond chest dropped right down to 9000

This what everybody means. If you are a losing player - the rewards for you will be much higher. A winner will never ever get these rewards.

Winning player here, confirmed that with increased climb up in chests after started on Stars, the requirements get ridiculous. Like, not 335k but I have to clear 120k to get one single chest now.

Which means less than 1% rake back. Thanks for nothing becomes a literal sentence this month.

Oh and this Horror promo is the biggest fraud ever. I had one Ghost and 3 mini ghosts -> I hit the wheel and immediately get a pop up, congratulations you've unlocked a chest reward (which can only be opened after 31st) and the wheel still spun. It is well planned how much you will be rewarded. I have seen losing players already having zombies and wiches and ****, I only get mini ghosts for over 15 days now

I don't even get those challenges, except sports bets, I get plenty of those, I have one challenge '3three bet free bet NBA', nothing poker related pops up in general, never even seen this Halloween stuff everyone's complaining about, it really is a joke how they ****ed me.

I´m new on Pokerstars.com and saw ´The Deal´ for the first time.
(Played on pokerstars.es and other sites that don´t have this rakeback promo).

Made some searches on 2+2 forums and ITT, but didnt find any big information about it.

Is it worth playing?
I saw Art saying somewhere that if the Jackpot is >90k it´s worth to be playing once a day, but wouldn´t it be better to play twice a day (12h gap) to have a better chance of winning a small share when someone hits it?

And do you say it´s better to play with the 7 coins or te 70 coins?
Is it better to use the starscoin on Cash Rebate or on THE DEAL?
Is there any calculations about the EV of each one?

If there is nothing I will probably do some calcs myself.

Pokerstars have new promotions that maybe indicating a new direction in rewarding players



So my chest target is usually 120.000 points = 1200$
Promotion says that I get chest 1, 2, 3 => 210$/ 1200$ thats extra 17.5% rakeback~ 2weeks

Nah, that would be too good. You need 2000 points to win 1 chest. You get points in your regular chest. I assume the amounts are random (or based on your unique player profile). I opened my first chest and got 750 points so I’m assuming I’ll need a minimum of 3 chests to get the first bonus chest, minimum 9 to clear all 3.

So in your case I’m assuming you’ll need to rake at least $10,800 to make that $210

about the new promotion going - i had been receiving 2 chests for every completed bar - one normal and one for the promotion. But the last 2 times I didn`t receive any chest for the promotion. Anyone having same issues?

yah i got a chest the following day without a promo chest in there. it was less than 24 hours but it was the following day... weird... i tried talking to support she had no clue lol kept referring to requirements bs.

also dang since ive been winning recently my black chest went from 25k points to 35k points now. when i was losing my diamond chests were 10500 the whole time!!!

on the bright side I did win $50 bonus for the 20+ hand promo thing just today haha

I've just cleared rakeback challenge (I'm more or less breakeven player) and in return they increased my diamond chests from 10k to 120k points so that I need to grind one month to open one! What a scam...

Try contacting support imo they can open them for you. Social media is prolly the fastest way .

Does anyone know if progress is affected in current challenges (pokerstars fc) when resetting to previous chest tier? Usually you stay at current tier till the remainder of the challenge I believe.
