I remember a case where they claimed a guy was botting, but it turned out he was just using an AHK script. He got his account back after some trouble. I'd hope Cake would have corrected that problem after the experience, and I haven't heard of any similar problems since.

They used to deduct bonuses, deposit fees ect from your MGR, now they do not. To make up for that and then some on their end, player points now clear alot slower.

oh...

I just find out there is no need of a AHK... bet slider works fine for me together with pop up table where action is required if I play with the tables on top of each other

I have never found the need for scripts either.

I play 90% on Cake. When was the last time you played there? I never understood why there are complaints like this. Have you ever tried playing on a smaller site? Maybe that will give you an appreciation for how bad things can be.

Congrats the software works great for you but realize for the other 99% of us its garbage. Do you like playing without seeing your hole cards??? Random digits floating on the screen, complete lock down freeze ups. These are all things most players there experience from time to time among other perks. Yiyiyi, this software is a freakin joke. Consider yourself lucky really if any of that seems alien to you.

Just started on Players Only a few days ago after not playing on Cake for almost 3 years. Only played a couple of hours a night for the past 3 nights but have not had a single s/w problem yet.

I don't have a lot of complaints about the Cake software. Hoever, the sound never works right for me. To make it work in Alerts Only mode I have to switch it to All Sounds, wait a minute or two, then switch it back to Alerts Only. I have to do this every time I start the client, it is annoying. Other than that the only other annoyance I have is when the table refreshes for some reason.

Their MTT lobbies have been messed up since day 1>
Still are.
Can fixing these be that hard?

- No reload bonus's =(
- RB is cool and you can track it right on the software, updates once a day
- Withdrawls are easy, paper check comes usually within week. First check of the month is free, every check thereafter for the month has a fee of $35
- Support is excellent in my experience.
- Probably the thing i hate the most is the VIP system is HORRIBLE. Shop is a joke, nothing else to spend your fpp's (coins) on. Every once in a blue moon they offer some SnG's and MTT's with fpp buyins for $$$
- Not an SnG player, but im pretty sure it takes awhile for SnG's to fill up, esspecially at higher stakes.
- Tournies are in my expierence very soft and easy to cash.
WORD.

lol at the amount of gold chips needed to get a decent item.

I like Cake because with a RB deal its really nice to get it on the Acc without having to do anything and there are some fish aswell as some really good players.
Now,what I really dont like:
-Compared to Partypoker/Stars I find the tables slower and dont like the graphics as much, at least thats what it felt like when I started to play 2months ago, now Iam used to it more, but still.
-No VIP program at all.All the Promotions with the Gold Cards and Chips is simply useless, I played like 1WSOP Tourney for the cards and thats it. I think you get chips pretty slow and you cant even use em for Cash.
They could at LEAST add something like...earn 250chips/Month and get 500$ or so(its just an Example, Partypoker has like 12000points for 1500$)
Sure PP doesnt have Rakeback, but still I think its a joke that you have to rely on Luck to use your cards or to win the Weekly Race, and that you cant sell them for Money, I think 1 Chip for 0.75$ would be fine.

I wish they had less rebuy tournaments and more guaranteed freezeouts throughout the day.

I recently started playing Cake. The only problem with the software I have had is that twice it has seemed to "reset" a table I was playing and cleared all the previous table stats, chat etc. which wasn't a big deal to me.

I'm a low-volume, micro player so the lack of a VIP program is irrelevant to me. I like the rakeback, I only play 2-3 tables at a time so there is plenty of traffic at my level and the MTTs, while not as lucrative as PS or FTP, don't have thousands of players that you have to wade through. The only downside I really have is their limited deposit methods. I ended up using ewalletxpress because they don't have e-checks and I couldn't get one of their mysterious usemywallet invitations.

Wow, the Cake micros are full of people with FPS. All kinds of weird stuff you don't see on FTP. But I like the fact that the player base isn't that big, so once you get to know the players, you can adjust. Which makes it more interesting than robotic play by HUD numbers.

I respectfully disagree. We're already getting 33% rakeback. Add in bonuses and it's more like 50%-55%. I don't see how there's much "room" available for a big rewards program, unless they want to be giving us back like 70% rakeback. Also I think gold cards and chips are great for branding purposes, as they differentiate Cake from almost every other poker room in the industry. Perhaps the prices in the store could be lowered in order to bring them in line with the overlays available in the gold chip tournaments. But I don't see anything wrong with the current rewards system that couldn't be fixed with some minor tinkering.

Another thing to consider is that any radical changes to the rewards program will leave thousands of players holding hundreds of thousands of gold cards/chips. Unless they are able to redeem them, there will be many angry customers. But if Cake allows gold cards/chips to still be redeemed after the introduction of a new VIP program, then players will have to contend with 2 different rewards programs operating simultaneously, which would be ridiculous. Thus I believe that the current system should only be changed slowly, if at all.
