I was thinking of signing up at carbon poker. I am a US player. How are their cashouts. What options would they give me for cashouts?

I had the same questions about Carbon but I decided to deposit and play anyway. I just got a check in the mail yesterday so I hope I can help answer some of your questions.

After you deposit (with a credit card or bank account transfer) they ask that you verify your account by filling out a form and sending in copies of the front and back side of your credit card and photo id. This verification is completed within hours.

After you cash out they take some time to "process" the withdrawal. I entered my withdrawal over the weekend and on Monday (January 12, 2009) I got an email to let me know my transaction was approved. I was told by their Chat Support that the maximum check withdraw is $2500.00 per check and they charge a $15.00 processing fee. I withdrew the max and my check was mailed for $2485.00

On Monday, January 26 I received the check. The Check was dated Tuesday, January 20th and mailed on January 21, 2009. The check was drawn from a Canadian Bank and Mailed from a Canadian Address.

I deposited my check yesterday, there was a hold placed on the funds until next Monday since it was a Canadian check.

Cliff Notes: Checks take TWO (2) Weeks to get after they are "approved"

I have a deal for rakeback on cake poker but am a little timid in depositing money on their site. I hear cashing their checks in american banks can be a hassle. i have a wells fargo account if that makes any difference. Does anybody have a problem with banks not accepting checks or additional fees or anything? Thanks for any response

It's been over a year since I cashed out at Bodog, but I withdrew multiple times and never had a problem their checks.

Cashed out on Bodog 2/18. Received check via Fed Ex on 2/20. Deposited at Wachovia today with no questions asked. Wells Fargo now owns Wachovia.

I am trying to build up my account at PlayersOnly so I have not made a cash out yet. I have heard that I can get the money sent to the credit card that I used to open my account. I have heard nothing but bad things about getting checks from them so I am nervous. If anybody has anything good to say about PlayersOnly and your ability to withdraw money I would love to hear it.

I think I am going to take what little money I have and open a FT account!

Use an eWallet service for both depositing and withdrawals. It will cost you a $30 fee but it is far more efficient than the check option.

When I did so, I ordered a book 2 days after with my gold chips.

Book came today... they sent me an E-mail 3 days ago they sent the check by courier. It's been around 2 1/2 weeks I believe.

ive got a 4 figure roll in there now too, which is good, but i too have only heard negative things on this subject. glad to see the above post at least.

regarding cc's: i think they will only xfer back up to the amount that you have purchased.

i think its dumb that cold card/chip purchases/wins come of mgr with regard to rakeback.

No problem cashing an $1800 cake check... although the bank charged a $3 international fee to cash it. Had to stop playing there because of the fees... $15 bank fee to load $500, $35 to cashout, $3 to cash the check... meh

^^the fee to cash that check is NOT industry standard, as far as i can find. i know that us bank just implemented it, and therefore i dont bank with them now.

Cake is quick but I hate paying $35 to cash out. My bank does not charge me though to deposit it.

Did you consider cashing out via the bank transfer (echeck)? I would think it would be easier and perhaps have no fees (but I'm not familiar with Carbon and don't know if this is true).
