Bodog troubles? Bodog troubles?

Hello all, has anyone had any troubles with Bodog lately? I made an account two weeks ago and deposited around $150. I ran it up to about $1700, and haven't really been playing recently. I just got an e-mail saying my account is disabled, and may become permanently disabled because of security issues with my identification, and credit cards. (I have never deposited or cashed out with any credit card)

Before I was even able to deposit, I had to send them signed, government issued identification. No problems, I sent them my ID. Just now they sent me an e-mail saying that there is a security issue with my account, and that they need photocopies of my debit card that functions as a credit card online. I don't want to do that for obvious reasons, and see no reason why they would need photocopies of my bank card, when I have never used it on the site ever?

I am just finding this weird, as one, I've verified my account before even depositing. Two, the only time I've brought up that debit card was when I contacted support about cashing out and seeing if that card was eligible, as it isn't technically a VISA, but a debit card that functions as a credit card online.

This just seems weird, or is this pretty normal? This is my first time not playing on Stars/FT, and I've never had any issues there with depositing/cashing out.

I think the above scenario happens on a lot of sites, have seen a lot of these types of threads. Only thing you can do is comply and wait for them to do an investigation and follow up in a couple of days if they don't respond as to the cause of the issue. Other people have had to do this on other sites, I have never heard of anyone getting into trouble so far. I know my first reaction would be to panic and that is def understandable.

You probably going to have to send them more paperwork to withdraw too. I would just do what they tell you to do. I been on there long time. I trust them and the money is worth it. How did you get money on the site with no credit card use?

All right well your post and the post above are re-assuring me this is pretty normal, that's good. It's just weird cause I've never had any troubles, and after getting this e-mail Bodog hasn't replied to me at all in nearly a day, and normally I get a reply within a few hours at most. Also, they want the very same ID again which is weird, because I already sent it in? Oh well, I guess I'll see what they want. Thanks guys.

EDIT: And to answer your question, I deposited through their INTERAC e-transfer option. I thought that would be cool and easy enough, but first they need ID for that option. That's why I had to send in my ID before anything.

Okay, no reply in two days, I've sent two e-mails.. is this normal? Every time I've sent them an e-mail in the past, I get an e-mail back INSTANTLY that says they've received it and will reply within 4 hours, maybe longer if they're really backed up. Then I will get a second e-mail with the actual response. So far I have received neither in two e-mails to them.
