Justin explain why this is happening. Why is your company's support so bad?
If you want to complain in general I think it's better to address it to BodogBecky. She is ambassodor for Bodog, main PR manager. She can be found with this nickname here and on some other poker sites.

More over I think someone more appropriate could get in contact with former owner and founder of Bodog - Calvin Ayre. I greatly dislike but appriciate Bodog's bad treatment of regulars. But what happens with software should be a shame to him.
Justin is just a source of information.

Is their a solution to the hand grabber not registering?
01-27-2011 , 01:08 PM
My handgrabber tries to update itself and an error message comes and it doesn't update. Anyone else have this problem? I tried to go to the handgrabber website to find the latest update but I can't find it A link to that or help would be appreciated.

My handgrabber is OK. I couldn't remeber how I updated it last time. This time I tried to update from the website but couldn't log on. I opened the handgrabber from my desktop shortcut and it auto updated to the new version but as a trial. When this ran out after 1000 hands I opened it again and clicked on the Help, About, and it asked for my email and reg key and it updated to registered Ver and is working fine.

No traffic........... but it is working on the ONE table that is running..........ho hum

so there was an update this morning....anyone know of the changes or notice anything different...lol on it taking 4 times to make it to the installer and finish downloading
01-27-2011 , 02:00 PM
I attempted to open my Bodog client today (Thursday January 27th) & it shows yet ANOTHER Bodog software update. I did NOT click to update as I'm afraid it will blow even worse than the previous fiasco of an update. Has anyone actually dowloaded THIS new update? If so how is it?

You are the guys who asked for deepstacked tables! Now you're complaining about it?!?!

For the record, its a rare issue with the new lobby, its being fixed currently.

Patch Release This Morning:
Tables Popping To Front: This should be working again now. The way it will work is if a table gets behind another window or table it will pop to the front when action is needed. If its manually minimized it will flash in the task bar when its your turn to act.

Hand History: Most of the issues with the HH causing the client to go buggy have been fixed. Please let me know if you run into other issues with it and they will look into it.

Cash Game Table List/Sorting: No advanced filters yet, I've suggested it be on the list after the issues are squashed with the new lobby, but when you sort by Stake it will now automatically perform a secondary sort so that the 9max's stick together, the 6max's stick together and the HU's stick together. Should make things easier to find without advanced filtering.

Keep the feedback coming guys.

Its a patch. Slightly melodramatic post though don't you think?

Justin is just a source of information.
FWIW Mr. Ayre has nothing to do with the day to day operation of the poker room. I can be more then a source of information, a lot has been changed in the time that I've had this role, a lot of which started in one place or another on these forums. If you need feedback or have suggestions please continue to post here. The Bodog admins keep their eyes on this thread along with me.

How about latest Bodog's release 3.10.3.9. Still no table info by one click as in 99% of poker clients.

Justin can you tell us what changed in this quick bug fix and what plans for other updates?
See above. I've asked about one click information for tables, its something they're going to discuss. I will keep you updated.

Not saying you are wrong, as it easily could have been a software issue, but sometimes disconnects, on any site won't trigger a popup window, especially if you're on wireless as its a quick drop in connection and the software then tries to catch up. It's unfortunate that it happened, I would continue to speak with support for hand specific answers. I will send it along to the admins none the less.

Ok did the update. Attempted to log on to a table & an error message popped up & Bodog shut down. So much for an update/fix. Will reopen client & see what happens.

For all you guys that are complaining about Bodog's new upgrades, you should be grateful that they are trying to improve the site.

I was a regular at Bodog about a year ago, then ended up going to Europe for a few months, cashed out, etc. I came back and I had a little cash left in the account and played way out of proper BR management areas, blew what I had left and decided to try out U.B. I've been playing micro limits at UB, mostly 10NL (I was mostly playing 25NL and 50NL at Bodog). I decided to try out UB because from what I heard, it was suppose to be a rather soft site compared to Tilt & Stars (I play those sites too, on occasion but can never beat the rake).

So since I've been on UB, I can't seem to make a decent, consistent run...always seem to break even, after about 20k hands...and I end up tilting off any small profit I may have made during any sessions. The average 6 max 10NL table at UB is between 30% - 35% people playing a hand....then I decided to check out how Bodog was running last night at 25NL and I forgot how crazy loose those tables were....the average 25NL table was above 50%...I miss those days and I plan to be back as soon as I come close to breaking even at UB.

So really, stop complaining about the little stuff...look at the big overall picture...Bodog is the best $$ making site around today, hands down.

Justin, found a bug.

In the lobby you have to click the little > arrow to see who is seated at a table. If you try to use the right arrow key to do it, it just says <Retrieving player information...>

The first time you try this it will load the players, but if you hit the down arrow, then the right arrow to see who is on the next table then it will not load it. Please fix this! It's a pain in the ass to have to click that stupid arrow everytime.

Bodog crashed on me 4 times within 1 hour today after the update. Anybody else have issues like this?
01-27-2011 , 08:23 PM
Idleminer has an update for the bodog handgrabber.
but as soon as i updated i only had a trial version and can no longer log in through my original product- key.
anybody else has the same problem ?

My bad, I should not have said observed hands, that part was an error. You are correct, the PokerTracker Bodog Hand Grabber cannot observe hands.

If the latest beta is not working for you can you please contact support with explicit details about what is not working? Our team can help you get up and running ASAP.

I have. I managed to play 1 game that was it. It would just shut down & I'd have to reopen the client.

Your table spawning problem seems not to only be with 2/3 and 2/4, but also with .5/1 and 1/2 Heads Up tables. Is there a max number of tables allowed to be running at each limit on the site or something? Because most of the time I find there are no more empty HU tables to sit at.
