Yeh, I'm never running anything in the background or anything. Just bodog. Hard wired connection. I'll play tonight a little and see if it happens again.

Worked just fine tonight. But...

When I had the disconnects, I was 4 tabling.

Tonight, I was just 3 tabling because overall it's smoother and just overall a more pleasant experience than 4 tabling, for me at least. Playing 4 tables at the same time for me on bodog is very laggy and slow and gives me a headache. It's playable but annoying that the software can barely handle it. I do have an up-to-date pc that I'm fairly certain can handle the load of bodog (LOL) if you're wondering.

Is it just that 4 tabling strains the client???
3 tabling is smooth as butter.

My PC handles 4 tables smoothly. I play SNGs if that makes a difference

I play on a pretty old laptop, and I'm able to 4-table without any issue.

Update your Internet Explorer and Adobe Flash. The Bodog client is somehow integrated with IE and uses Flash animation.

How are they killing you on rake, it's the same as PS. .05/$1 with a $3 cap for 6max or full ring. Pots over $60 gets the max rake so the winner grabs a min $57 the house $3, thats pretty fair IMO.

I do think you should get rewards for playing alot. I just also know rake is how poker rooms get money so you just have to deal with it. I've stated before, I never hear anybody complain about rake at MGM and they are higher than most online rooms. For players that put a decent volume can get a decent rakeback especially in SNGs.

do some calculation how much bb/100 hands you pay playing holdem and how much playing omaha, then it will get clearer to you how hard it is to beat it. and also in omaha often we have much less equity than in holdem, going allin with 60% is quite common, while having 80% is a dream.

Is there any way to make the player notes more.... better? Atleast color code or something. The little box that indicates that I have a note on the player is really small. Even then, i would have to click on it to read it. Maybe color identification would be nice.

just hero called someone with 3rd pair, in $200 pot 1/2nl..... he had busted flush draw

I just use PT3. That way, they are stored in the database.

Thanks. I'll try this. I don't ever use IE and don't remember the last time I've updated it, lol.

Took a bit of time away from Bodog over the last few weeks...has the PLO player pool increased any as of late? (particularly in the .25/.50-.50/1.00 level) -Thanks

seriously dude, no one cares. it may surprise you to know that many of us have also won a few hands at poker, and even caught someone bluffing!

BBV is where they will want to hear all about it.

Will update when I receive and if it clears the bank :/
Check was deposited about a week ago (6/11) and has not bounced yet. Last one bounced after a few days so I think I'm good to go. About 3 weeks from start to finish.

do you need to buy a separate hand grabber? looks like at least pokertracker has one out of the box?

also (related?) is there a way to see mucked hands?
06-18-2011 , 03:04 PM
For hem you need a hand grabber.. pt3 has one already.

Click last hand in the top left corner.. it's the only way to see them... not even pt3 will show you mucked cards.

What about the bug when the software thinks you are on four tables but you are really on three or less tables?
