also, when is bovada/bodog gonna implement synchronized break for tournaments? this is really really annoying when you fire up like 4 tournaments and there's no way you can take a water/pee/poop break cuz there's no way you get the same break on all tables.

Thank you for this info. It's very good to know for the future. I am not certain of this solution since I did try signing in from a different computer and still didn't get them to come through. But maybe it would've made a difference if I had deleted the folder on both computers. Either way, it sounds like this may be a reasonable solution. I wish I would've figured to try this during the 7 day download period.

I've tried many times now to get Bovada to send me my HH that never came through that went beyond 7 days. They make it sound like it's just not possible for even them to retrieve them.

Final Conclusions on Bovada.

Dont care about poker players cares or wishes.
In it to make the most money possible.
Regs that are winners hurt their business.
There for they try to slow down the winners.

As mentioned in the unofficial bovada thread, they fixed the software and all my old hands instantly downloaded. So, the solution is to just sign in to the software and everything will be good; no need to delete anything.

prob been asked but is there any way to get/dl hands that have 'expired'? was on vaca from march 11-16th and am missing hands from then and a couple days before. if i email cs will they send them or make them available to dl again?

They've never given me missed hands either. Nor anyone in this thread that I recall and I read or at least try to skim every post. I find getting into a twice or 3 times a week routine of downloading HH is a good bet. That way in case you have issue, you can be alerted to it quickly

A few things from the last few days:

The small update the other day was to fix the problem that prevented some player's hand histories from downloading. Unfortunately, there is no way to get hh's after the 7 day period. The network apologizes for any inconvenience that may come from that.

WSOP Satellites?

These will be starting soon. No exact date at this moment, but I will definitely let you guys know when they start.

April 1st Blue tournaments?

On April 1st there will be a special double vision type tournament promotion. All guaranteed tournaments will run twice on that day, first at their regularly scheduled time and then again 2 minutes later. Double the tournaments, double the cash up for grabs, and double the fun!

Anonymous Poker Series (APS)?

You can find the details on your operator's website, but it is a tournament series put on by the Bodog Network. The satellites that you see are for the APS Finale in January 2014 in Manila, Philippines. This tournament will have a $100,000 guarantee on it, and it will feature a field with a maximum of 50 players. The tournament package includes the $2,000 tournament buyin, flight, hotel, spending cash, and more!

How can they guarantee this?

I see there are going to be 7 $325 satellites for the $6600 packages. How can they guarantee that no more than 50 packages will be won?

Can something be done about the disconnect problem.

You get knocked offline for 1 second and lose your seat which is absurd. There is no reason it can't just sit you out if this happens. Instead you end up paying blinds for hands you dont get,have to wait 5 mins to get the seat back if someone hasnt taken it on you and you can only buy in for 100 blinds.

What makes it even worse is there are a ton of people on ****ty connections that dont get disconnected but take forever for every decision and use their time bank every hand but as long as they dont get knocked off completely they keep their seat and ruin the game for everyone.

They will pay out cash only for any prizepool amount above the guaranteed number of seats in each qualifying tournament.

The problem is that the software sometimes doesn't update that the table is full, and once a table is full bovada removes it from being viewable

There is no fix, you just join another table, and hope it is actually 8/9 and will let you sit down

This is only a minor, more cosmetic problem

i've posted this about 4-5 times with no response, so +1

also an option to hide the tables you are on from the lobby would be nice

Is there an offical reason for not allowing player to player transfers? It would seem to inhibit a lot of play(ers).

Is it mostly because Bovada would not get the 4.9% on deposits?

Are there ever deposit holidays, special events where that 4.9% gets waved?

I doubt it is the 4.9%. Mainly cause I do money transfers and get they give me the fee back.

what is DS and SS?

Deep stack and short stack... not to cut in on official support's replies.. but I was posting to sub anyways

I think SS is a larger stack than DS

DS does not mean deep stack. It means double stack so you will start with 3,000 chips. SS is super stack with 5,000 chips.
