I think that means they will just have casino, and no poker

I run Windows 7 with a fast i7 computer with 16GB of Ram and this software will after a few hours freeze me out to the point I have to reboot the entire computer since force closing the client and reloading it afterward still leaves my tables frozen. This is not good when your playing sngs having to wait for rebooting.

Any advice? The guy at support who claimed to be a supervisor tries to tell my computer is not fast enough for 4 tables (ROFL, like 85% of system resources available) but the issue has happened to me running just one or two tables.

I'm given the run around every time saying the problem is my computer and not on Bovada side but the problem since everyone else playing in the sngs didn't have issues. That is true to some point but the problem isn't my computer it's the buggy software that crashes frequently and then won't let me back in?

The support supervisor tells me they have a team of high tech software developers? Really??? Their was a bug in the old client for a few years that thought you had four tables going when you might of only had one or two thus wouldn't let you open anymore and the programmers didn't fix the issue until the anon tables.

Anyone advice? I've lost a lot of money from this issue and I'm tired of it.

Why haven't you purchased a different system? Seems like it's costing you a lot of money and you know Bodog won't be the ones to fix it.

I am running XP on a comp I built back in 2006 and I have no issues.

Huh? I have a near top of the line computer and support it telling me it's not strong enough which is complete stupidity on their part.

I did have an old laptop with XP on it and didn't run into as many issues but XP is old as dirt.

You don't get it, the software is old and crappy. You need an old and crappy computer to run it well. Mine runs flawlessly on my barely survived a dip in the ocean laptop from 2008.

Mine runs fine on Win7 and 8. You're clearly just unlucky OR you have some program running that disagrees with the poker client. Gl

New software update went out today (4.8.0). I'm sure you guys will come across some of the changes as you play throughout the day.. but I'll have a post up giving the details later tonight.

20 minutes on the phone w/support and I'm logged in.

Being able to auto post and wait for big blind now make it very convenient to join tables. Although it took a long long time, so many suggestions have been dealt with. Good job Bodog.

Any idea when the Americans are getting removed from the network?

Like I said.. new update (4.8.00) went out this morning. Mostly stuff on the backend, but a few player changing faces:

- Auto post blind and wait for bb options- Both of these options are now available to you when buy into a cash table:



This option is also available under preferences > Default Buy-in > Auto-post blind/ante



- The second beep that you guys were hearing when winning a pot has been removed.

- The bug that would delete what is typed in the text box when focus is taken from the text box was fixed.

- A bug that would not allow the bet button value to change after typing a different number into the bet box was fixed

- Some sit n gos were added to the top of the scheduled tournament schedule.

Also, I'm glad to announce some new tournaments and some tournament changes. These changes will take place on Tuesday March 12th (all times are eastern time):

- At 1:15am: A new $16.50 $1,000 guaranteed super knockout turbo.

- At 1:50am: A new $11 escalating levels tournament.

- At 2:50am: A new $16.50 hyper turbo super stack tournament.

- At 8:30am: The current $27.50 $500 super stack is being changed to a $16.50 $400 guaranteed super stack.

- On the weekends at 14:45: A new $16.50 $2,000 guarantee escalating levels tournament.

- On Monday thru Friday at 17:15: A new $16.50 $2,000 guarantee super turbo super stack tournament.

- At 19:35: A new $22 $1,000 guarantee pot limit omaha hi/lo super turbo super stack tournament.

- At 20:25: A new $2.20 $1,000 guarantee double stack with 95 min of late registration.

Just downloaded Bovada on my mac laptop and says unable to log in for the last like 6 hours. What's the deal?

uninstall, reinstall. Delete browsing history. Worked for me this morning. This is what they told me to do when I called them.

what exactly does the auto post blind/ante setting in the preferences actually do/differ from if you just checked 'auto post blind' when sitting at a table. does it over ride it so you literally post the blind no matter what whenever it is on you? i don't get it. or does it just set it to checked by default so you don't have to click the box every time you sit at a table?

er i guess it just makes it so it's checked by default when you sit at a new table.

The auto post blinds is not as important, it just makes it so the auto post is auto checked.

BUT, the wait for big blind preference is really good. It makes it so you automatically wait for BB before posting, instead of having to click the option after sitting down.

It saves a few clicks.. which is always good. But to answer your question, no.. it won't auto post you from anywhere (unless you uncheck wait for bb in the buyin screen).

I'm on a mac and it seems I the software hates me. I've tried everything, but no matter what i do I get an error when I attempt to login: Your login request cannot be processed at this time. Please try again. Anyone having this problem?

EDIT* I also cannot view any tables. I'm not sure if thats because you need to be logged in to view them or not, but i thought I'd mention it.

I can't get the view previous hand to work. It says cannot connect to server. Anyone else have this problem?
