Exportable hand histories! (and importable to hem/pt). I'm ok if they aren't avail for 24 hours to prevent huds.

Also, on the review games screen it shows how you did (+ or - amount) but makes you do the math for start to finish times to figure out how long the session was. I feel like this would be a trivial addition.

A notification when you have 5 or 10 seconds left to act like the old bd software would be nice.

yeah that's a damn good idea XaQ, im trying to think of what could go wrong with that though. verifying my residence would be tough. if they allowed me to get a WU in DC that would be great. Otherwise, the check would be deposited in a MD bank and I suppose that might be a problem.

I wrote that article early in the day. I went from what I could confirm which was it was only Maryland. A post in the other thread says no new Washington State players. The poster did not post a source, but I am sure they did not just blindly post it. There must be some way they know/think that. I think it is too late for my sources to be around on the east coast. It is frustrating that there is nothing official from Bovada on this. It seems support is not even sure what happened today.

FWIW, if new Washington State players are banned, there will be no major online poker room for new players in that state to play.

If you've followed the direction Bodog has been headed for a number of years now, this isn't something you'd expect them to do anytime soon IMO. Mass multitablers are pretty much the opposite of the market they've been targeting.

I think the should offer more tables if they can in the future. It actually would benefit the site. The vast majority of multi-table players (10+ tables) are BE players that get profit from RB. They dont offer rakeback or a reasonable VIP program. Masstabling cuts into your edge from my experience (former 20 tabler on PS). Only players who are a cut above the rest can make a profit long term.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Bodog has shown a very heavy bias towards recreational players with pretty much every move they've made. Limiting the tables, getting rid of rakeback, anonymous tables, etc. Recreational players aren't playing more than 4 tables. Players that make eek out very low winrates or win money from rakeback alone are still taking money from the recreational players.

Without getting into a debate of which is the best way to go, all I'm saying is that allowing more than 4 tables would be a move in completely the opposite direction for Bodog.

^^Not going to debate you on that, I just think it would be a smart move because of the RB situation.

Yeah I was going to say the 2 things you can pretty much plan on never happening are increasing the 4 table limit and adding player to player transfers.

Before anyone gets me on this, I realize that they increased the tourney limit to 20 tables, but they stated that they did this so that people could register for an entire day's worth of tourneys in advance without having to worry about not being able to play them because of the table limit.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

^^I consider myself a recreational player and would still like to see them increase the limit one of these days. I only 2 table (1 tabled today because my SNGs filled up at a snail's pace) at the moment but I'm sure other players would welcome an increase.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

I requested a cashout two days ago by WU and they processed it as a check since I haven't deposited through WU.

I email them back to request a different method and get this response..

Bovada Customer Service service@bovada.lv
2:45 PM (4 hours ago)

Dear Mr. ******,

Thanks for contacting Bovada Customer Service.

We would like to let you know that we understand your frustration with the method your Payout Reference Number 339899972 in the amount of $1000 was processed. Please note that after reviewing your account we see that you are eligible to receive your payout using Rapid Transfer since you have made a deposit in you account using this method. Please note that since you have not made any deposit in your account using Money Transfer this payout option will not be available for a payout.

We would like to let you know, should you like to have your payout sent via Rapid Transfer the maximum amount you can request as a payout using this method is $900 and you will be charged a fee of $60. Please be advised that we do not offer any free payouts using Rapid transfer and you will be charge a fee depending on the amount you are requesting for your payout.

We kindly ask that you contact our Customer Service department using the telephone number or email address below is you would like to have your payout sent to you using Rapid Transfer. Once we receive your reply, we will send a request to our Payouts Department requesting to have your payout method change to Rapid Transfer.

Our Customer Service Team is available at service@bovada.lv 24/7 to help if you need anything else.

Thanks,

Bovada Customer Service
service@bovada.lv

Obviously I email them back right away asking for the MG (This is the only method I've used to deposit and I've only deposited once.) Support says my request will be sent to their payout department.

2 hours later, I receive another email saying that MG won't be an option and they're going to send it via check again.

I call support and spazz out on the guy and apparently since I haven't deposited using that method in the last 6months(lol wtf it's been maybe 8 give me a ****ing break) they have to send me a checkski. Obviously I also ask if I can deposit the minimum to get this going and the guy basically says I'm SOL.

I sorta need this money soon, but the check has already been approved I believe and I'm not sure if it's worth it to keep bitching.

Thoughts?

Even though the poker community cannot get any type of response from Bovada about this, they did in fact stop accepting new players in NY, UT and WA. That officially shuts out Washington State players from online poker anywhere unless they have a grandfathered in account.

Looks like you requested to withdraw with WU but never deposited that way. They switched your payout to a check which seems like the default payout method. If it's already approved then it's really nothing they can do to change it. Putting a stop payment on a check takes 10 business days.

See that's why I hate these threads. They'll take a million requests to change background colors or do whatever, and say that they will pass it through to their developers, but when something important happens we get crickets.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Just wanted to say the 4 table limit imo is one of the biggest reasons why bodog is the only site I'm better than break-even

I kinda hope in the future more sites offer some sort of tables that are not open to mass tablers. Nothing against grinders at all, I just like soft games (and I cant mass-table well, so I guess its mainly selfish reasons).

So to get clarification, NY players can still play if they have had a real money account? Or are details still really vague?

+1

I took a lot of time off for personal reasons and missed more turns in an hour four tabling my first day back than I would miss in a week of ten tabling a normal site.

A lot of that is just the total lack of feel for the action because of the removal of player names but simply having it only beep when I actually have a decision to make would help tremendously.

Also, the red racetrack for me helps but with no options to change the red cards that blend perfectly into the table there is really no table and card options that help me follow the action better.

Have you tried blue table? The cards stay red with that option.

Def agree about overall alerts/timing. Its not uncommon for at least one player to time-out (30 sec) every hand for quite a few rounds in a row. I see casual players typing 'zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz' into chatbox surprisingly often. Can get very annoying.

And no one "got" Doyle's.

Yeah. The other tables arent really well defined. Normally that wouldnt be an issue but with just random numbers as names, no preferred seat option, and the random beeps, I found myself more comfortable with the more well defined racetrack.

Ill adjust, its just was such a big difference from the last time I played on Bodog before the hidden names were implemented. I found myself getting lost and looking for any little adjustments I could make to make sure I wasnt missing any turns.

That reminds me, please add a preferred seating option.

By the way Doyle's was seized so i do at least have that fact correct.
Their domain name was seized but I don't think any money directly related to their operations were seized. If there was, the amount was trivial. They later became Americascardroom, a brand owned by Doylesroom former owners for about ten years.
