lol. Preferred seating wasn't a huge priority to me. Attempting to implement it and having it result in bugs like that is...way terrible.

I wrote a note on seat #2 today while I was seat 1. It put the note on me and i was unable to give player 2 a note

Any time you (or anyone else) have these problems, please pass along as much info as you can: table name, your seat number, hand number, description of the problem.

can you even deposit on this site? when i call they tell me only deposit methods are CC and gift card. it wont accept my CC and i dont live anywhere that sells a gift card close by.

Having said all that i'm living outside the USA and they still tell me that those are my only options...

You dont know when it is your turn like before .. Just not as good as before time out too much ... like too know when people are all in made a noise before and i could look at the hand , question is why would i like the knew sound why not have both options

That was the first and biggest complaint when they first released the new client last year. They had perfectly good, working sounds and went to really strange/low quality sounds and the placement of the sounds made no sense. They said almost right away that they were aware of it and would fix it "soon". Well, 8+ months later, this is their fix.

You should still receive a sound when it is your turn to act.. if this is not the case please let me know we any relevant info you can grab. I will also pass along the suggestion that people would like the option to have all sounds at all tables or just all sounds at focused table.

No, but one of the biggest complaints after the software change was how bad the sounds were and how they needed to be change. I get it, you aren't satisfied with the change. Rather than offer some positive suggestions on what you would like to see, you've instead gone off on rants about how ridiculous these changes are to you. If you have positive suggestions, I am all for hearing them, but future rants will be overlooked.

Here is what I've got so far from the most recent update:

- An additional option so that all sounds play on all tables.
- The addition of an alert or alerts when player is about out of time to act
- Possibly rethinking the sounds they currently use (possibly going back to the sounds they used pre-software update?)
- Addition of an alert when it is the players turn to post blind and auto post blind isn't checked

And other things from the thread:

- Fix the top up logistics
- Auto blind being randomly unclicked
- MTT tournament lobbies taking awhile to update

Anything else I'm missing? Or anything new you guys would like to see?

They need prompts when it's your turn then.

The sounds were fine prior to the big update.

Putting myself into a situation where I'm sure to get another barrage of insult PMs from big gilute who thinks I must be terrible if I need to color tag players, I've had another half dozen or so instances where the color tags/notes don't show on a player. I can clearly see that the color tag is selected for a player, but it doesn't show on screen. It also doesn't change when the player leaves and is replaced, making the feature useless.

when new tournaments pop up you have to click ok that you are seated before you can make any actions on other tables. Sometimes it causes lag on my machine and time out on other tables because i haven't hit ok yet on the new table. Very frustrating. (I may have overlooked a setting so please let me know if there is an easy way to fix this.)

I emailed Bovada support about cashout timeframes and they emailed me back and said the issues are fixed and that payouts are processed and are to be shipped within 5-10 days, has anyone experienced this first hand?

the main thing is that if I am making a bet on one table and an opponent is raising my bet on another table I can no longer hear that.

So in general the 'sound update' will increase the amount of time outs in the general poker population and a little more in the multitabler pop.


With that being said any hard core player should profit since you should be paying attention when your playing and your opponents are hopefully timing out multitasking facebook.


Also in general the update is good since the pick your seat option combined with more functional auto bet buttons decreases mental energy requirements

if it wasn't apparent before, they're clearly not tying to fix problems.

It works out great as it keeps a lot of pros away and none of the current 'on purpose bugs' bother me, it's just pretty funny to observe.

Lol at people reporting bugs in here. Major problems haven't been fixed since the software came out and you guys think they are going to fix the little bugs ? My favorite is when the payouts are wrong and you win to find out first is less than it originally said and it paid 36 even though it said 18. These things are inexcusable. I didn't realize how annoying the glitches are until I played elsewhere again. I mean really you can't even type in a bet without another screen popping up causing you to min raise another table. This piece of crap software should have been scrapped along with the dumb no skill anonymous tables. I hope bovada gets the next doj smackdown

For me the biggest new bug introduced is that when you get your hand history from the server, there is now no way to know who you are in the hand history. The old hand history had a [ME] appended to the seat name. I am not sure if this was done on purpose so people cannot review the hand history or easily look for collusion, but can you please see if they can fix that (quickly).

Here's a bug worth fixing. Button shoves < 1.5 BBs, SB calls and I'm not allowed to raise in BB.

Seen it before but not sure if it's on allins between 1 and 1.5 BBs or 1 and 2 BBs.

Downloaded and installed the poker client, but it doesn't seem to be working properly. I click on the icon and it searches but can't find the software. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it a couple times but still no success. Anyone else had that problem? Any help/ideas? Thanks.

I had the same problem recently. I tried to download it 4-5 times with the same problem. Eventually, after getting frustrated and quitting installing and unstalling, the next day a download took. Until you get it to take you can go into the newly created Bovada file in your computer and open the client that way. You can also create a shortcut from the Exe file in the Bovada file onto your desktop that will work.
