If you don't understand why someone would use a feature to color code players then you are exactly the type of player I want at my tables.

- if you sit anywhere else (i.e., seat #2 on a 6 max and are then moved to center bottom), notes will work in that the notes are saved, but the color tags do not display on the player.

I was only using notes to color tag players with various playing types, so this makes the notes feature worthless.

Ice, I know this is asking a lot, but do you think you could ask Bodogavada to have their programmers:

1) test their new releases

2) not break working features when implementing new features

???

Seriously.
More to this...I had a note on the player across from me who happened to be player 5. The note tag didn't show. I typically just choose the player, choose a color and hit save. I then typed something in the note to see if that would make the color tag show. It didn't. Player 5 then sat out and left the table, and a few minutes later a new player sat in his place. Yet, the note was still there.

Are you saying that if you sit in seat 6 instead of 4 (center on 6max) and then get moved to 4 (due to preferred seating).. and you try to make a note, the notes don't work?

I ask because I just tried what I described and the note colors were working on my screen.

Sample size of 2 here, but yes, that's what seems to be happening. But I did notice that once opponents leave and are replaced, I can then put notes on them. Also, there's 2 dropdowns for some of the players at my table now. I'll try to gather more data and post it all at once rather than as it happens.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Like I said.. it's working for me:

I, like most I'm sure, use seat 4 for preferred seating and sat at this table as player 1.

But, I will obviously pass this along as something to keep an eye on/look in to.

OK cool thanks. I've bounced around to a few different tables and now of course can't get it to happen. Hopefully it was just a fluke similar to the other notes bug that comes up from time to time.

So its back to just having no sounds at all for now.
The disable pop to front seems to make no difference for me.

Yes. I was used to, and prefer, being able to hear all sounds from all tables even if I wasn't sitting.

Why would anyone take notes on Bovada, as there are no screen names?

I doubt the notes stay with the player permanently. Maybe if you plan on playing a long session with that person? Anyway, I've thought about it, and I'm getting back to you.

Sigh. It's like this. You're playing 3-4 tables and may or may not have other things going on. There's a player at one table who is spewing all over the place and you've decided to target him to play pots with him. He's 3betting with trash and bluffing all over the place so you want to call him down light. You don't put a note on him because you don't understand the need for it.

So while you're in a hand at another table, or look away, or take a bathroom break or whatever, that player leaves and another player takes his spot. You raise, this player 3 bets, you think it's your mark, so decide to call him down light, and he shows up with the nuts. Oops.

Now do you see why it could be beneficial to at least put a color tag note on a player indicating that you know something about his play?

This is the part of your job that must suck, listening to a bunch of us whine about stuff. So that said, I'll pile it on. This still isn't working properly. I've had at least 5 times today that I hit the fold button instead of fold to any bet, and when action is on me the screen flashes a bit and it unchecks. It does seem a bit better than before, but still not completely fixed.

No worries, I take the good with the bad. But it is why I almost never put any bad news in update threads (like how the top up stuff hasn't been fixed yet but it is on the map to be fixed in the future)... as delivering the good news, like preferred seating being an option, is definitely more fun.

I noticed the pre-select not being perfect .. much much better, but still not working every time. It's been passed along.

I have a hard time believing anyone that has ever played online poker would not want to hear all the sounds of all your tables.

Did they do this on purpose or is this a glitch?

I would never ever want to hear every sound on every table, that just seems awful.. which is why I'm glad they added the alert only (although I usually play with my laptop muted).

I'm not sure if it was on purpose or a glitch, but I did pass it along.

maybe I could live w/o all the sounds idk I've never played any other way, but FFS I want to know when it's my turn

why can't we fix the bug where it unchecks your auto-post blind?

I agree.. and you should now have the new option where it alerts you when it is your turn. Please let me know if you are having trouble with that option (with details, table name, player number, hand number etc) so that I can pass it along.

They are well aware of the blind box button and its fix is on the map of things to be implemented.

Called Bodog, btw the telephone line on the client doesn't work, I asked 2-3 times if the sound is supposed to be so ****ty where you can only hear the sound on one table. He kept running around the question saying they are taking feedback. Finally, I got him to answer the question and yes it is supposed to be this ****ty. THIS WAS THEIR ****ING PLAN! To reduce the noise. mother ****er do you they get a bunch complaints about too much noise? auto post blind feature randomly gets unclicked...**** it. wait for BB feature when buying in...**** it. maybe remember my account # and password 1 ****ing time? naw **** it! what we should do is make our cluster **** sound even ****tier, but lets add that action only box...who's ****ing idea was that? btw I lasted 3 ****ing hands with that **** and it worked 2 out of 3 hands I took a screen shot so I could remember the HH #, but after the next 2 hands I knew I'd never use that **** option so I didn't give a **** if that ever gets fixed.

Even if people want less noise make that an option, don't make the only choice you have.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

I just ran into a completely insane bug with preferred seating. I opened up a 6 max 100NL table and sat in seat 3. Preferred seating moved me to the bottom of the screen which is where the old seat 4 was, right? Soon enough the old KK < AA trick hit, so I reloaded. The very next hand, this is what I saw:

If you don't get what's going on, it shows my cards in Seat 6's position, with his new stack size, a raise to 3.50 from him, but the action is on me. Seat 3 is highlighted as it usually is showing where I'm supposed to be, and my new stack amount.

I grabbed a screenshot, then unchecked auto-post blinds to see if it would fix itself. Instead, this is what happened the next hand:

Here the graphics show that once again positions/cards seem to be reversed. I grabbed this screenshot and just sat out and left, because I couldn't make sense of it. What I didn't try to do is right click on another seat and choose sit here. That might have fixed it.

I'd like to say I would try to see if this happens again, but I'm not really interested in getting stacked again in the name of trying to find out how bad Bodog's programmers are.

Ice, do you want me to send this to Bovada's support email as well, or is here good enough?
