I had bought chips at the table. No matter how many times I clicked the taskbar icon, or hit the 'tile', 'cascade', or any other button, I could never see the table. The beep of blinds posted was played in my speaker. I attempted to close the invisible table in the task manager (the table had it's own process) and the whole client crashed. This was very frustrating. It happened twice. I lost a few cents but that is no big deal. Hopefully this issue will not continue.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issue with the software, rest assured that we will help you resolve your concern. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, Please be advised that you can arrange the tables on the software by clicking on the "Tile" tab on the upper right side of the software.

We also recommend that if you are experiencing technical problems on our Poker Software. We kindly ask you to please ensure to clear the temporary files on your Internet explorer browser. To do this:

Open Internet Explorer and click on the 'Tools' button at the top of the screen. Select 'Internet Options' and click on the 'General' tab. Once there, click on 'Delete Cookies' and 'Delete Files'.

Then, please adjust the security settings of your Internet Explorer browser that may be blocking our servers to pass through. To check your security settings, please open Internet Explorer, click on the 'Tools' button at the top of the screen, select 'Internet Options' and click on the 'Security' tab. Please ensure your internet security settings are set to 'Medium'.

The best thing to do when this happens is to log out then log back in to the software to set up a new connection to our servers. If you are still experiencing problems, try restarting your computer, your modem or your router as this will usually solve any system-based and connection issues.

If any of these steps are unable to resolve the issue, please let us know as quickly as possible to further look into this.

It's pretty common for bad programmers to write parts of poker sites as IE apps because the code is already there for them to use and they don't have to write their own code for parts.

ouch I had feared something like that, but never heard of such a thing

I never use IE. I keep it installed but never updated and there are no shortcuts to it.

Some questions:

Is there a HUD that work for bodog? I think I read somewhere that holdem indicator works for bodog but I'm not sure.

And this

Preferred seating too please.

Also try to get the sound sorted. Its so hard to know if its your turn. Maybe change the colour of the buttons because they are a similar color as the background.

Hey guys quick note for those of you that play in the Mini Series of Poker.. the lobby time and website time don't always match (esp on the weekends), so make sure you are looking at the lobby when figuring out when to play. I'll mention this to Bodog so that it gets fixed.

Holdem Indicator does work for Bovada, it will do a HUD and some basic session review stuff.

Honestly, no one needs a HUD on Bovada. The only stats that have any prayer of converging in a single table session are VPIP/PFR.

If someone sits at your table for a few hours, then their 3-bet%, and some basic post-flop stuff will begin to converge as well. But guess what? They're not a fish! They're a grinder like you (OK, so maybe a bit aquatic, ), so you should be giving them more credit than the fish and just avoiding thin value spots with them, since so many fat value spots will come up with the fish.

All this points to the fact that you can make a good guess at a villain's VPIP/PFR all by yourself if you're paying a bit of attention. You don't need to be exact, just broadly stereotype all Villains. Memorize a reasonable 40%, 35%, 30%, ... 5% ranges and put villains into each category. You're NOT going to get much more information from a HUD in a single session... Certainly not $100 worth of value out of it, if you're playing the micros.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Okay so i wrote them an email to bovada saying who i suspected were colliding. They said this

Thanks for contacting Bovada Poker Customer Service.

We appreciate the time you took to write us and let us know about your concerns. We’ll review all the hands that player 1 and player 3 played together. If we find evidence these players were collaborating, we'll take action.

Kindly note that we cannot provide any details on our investigation into this matter due to privacy concerns but rest assured that the issue is being reviewed by our Poker Security team and that all appropriate steps will be taken. If you observe anything in our poker room that makes you a little suspicious, we’d like to know about it. You would need to provide the table name, the seat and hand numbers you’d like us to look at when calling.

I then called them and they told me even if they found those players to be colliding... then that info wouldn't be given to me due to privacy reasons. They tell me I wouldn't even expect an email back. Umm.... so I can't even get an email stating whether my claim was right or wrong? How in the world is this against privacy reasons? I dont even know the players username 1 and 3.

Does anyone else agree this is just stupid? I mean, i won't be able to get an email back whether my suspicion was correct or not due to PRIVACY REASONS? How in the world is this privacy reasons.

Okay confused here. Is this thread for bodog users that are not in the USA???

No, this thread is for all things having to do with the entire Bodog network (this includes Bovada). It has nothing to do with any single site on the network.

From either official or unofficial Ice, can we get an answer on why Bodog/Bovada can't give an answer of "yes player 3 and player 1 were colluding, here's your money back" or "no, player 3 and player 1 were not colluding, sorry."???

I only somewhat understand why they wouldn't reveal the outcome before. Even though PokerStars would flat out tell you what they did, I do see why sites would not want to reveal it. However, now that players are anonymous there's absolutely no reason why they can't take a few seconds to let players know what their findings were.

I mean there is one obvious reason as to why they don't want to reveal what they did. That's so they can fire their security department and do nothing about any email complaints. Now they have no accountability and based on their own policies don't have to tell their players anything. Pretty bad practice imo.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Ok this is just ******ed.
Lately I had some login issues. Not even login issues but there were probelms with me buy-ing in to the tables. Today I opened tables tried to buy-in couldn't so restarted the client but like 150$ were missed.
So I conntacted their customer support:

Connected to chat.bodog.co.uk
Session ID: 520670
System: Welcome to Bodog. An agent will be with you shortly.
System: Alvin M. has joined this session!
System: Hi, my name is Alvin M. and I will be assisting you today. How may I help you? . Please note: your reference number for this chat session is 520670.
XXX: Hi, I have a problem. Something happened from my poker client. Firstly I couldn't sit at the tables now there is like 150$ missed in my account
XXX: I tried to sit at the tables.couldn't logged out but money is still missed
XXX: Alvin M.: We appreciate you for contacting us with your concern and we are glad to assist you with this issue.
XXX: Alvin M.: We do apologise for any frustration this has caused you and we will definitely take a look into your account immediately so we can assist you with this.
XXX : Alvin M.: Can you please hold for a minute while I review your account information?
XXX: BTW I have a connstant problem with sittin in I mean when I want to buy-in at the tables I can't
XXX: it happens all the time to me
XXX: so I can't play poker when I want
: Alvin M.: Thank you for holding.
XXX: yeah but did you check what happened?
XXX: I mean I would like to get my money back
Alvin M.: Upon review of your account, I see that you buy in to three Cash Games.
XXX: yeah but I couldn't in reality
XXX: I never sit at the tables
XXX: I logged out and logged in again
XXX: but the money is still missed
XXX: + I couldn't login to my bodog account via browser either
XXX: got the info that servers are temporary unavaliable
XXX: Please be advised that we currently do not have any reported issues with our software.
Alvin M.: I believe what you are experiencing is a common connection issues.
XXX: Ok, I have like 150$ missed, according gto your "system", and I sit at the 3 tables but I don't
XXX: moreover when I logged back bodog client didn't open any tables for me
XXX: Isn't it a very big issue??
XXX: and no I could use my internet in a perfect way elswhere
Alvin M.: Please be advised that we can only refund buy ins if the problem originates on our end.
Alvin M.: It's normal for a player to be disconnected from Bodog Poker and still be able to browse the internet and view a web page.
Alvin M.: We understand this seems impossible, but let us explain:
XXX: yeah but I didn't get anything. I didn't play a single hand today, closed the lient but didn't get the money back
Alvin M.: Online poker is played in real time and millions of bits of information have to pass back and forth between our servers and your computer almost instantly.
Alvin M.: This requires a very strong internet connection and will disconnect if the connection weakens.
Alvin M.: A web page only requires the internet connection for the few seconds while the page loads, and hen the connection is idle, so it’s not a good comparison.
XXX: yeah but I didn't play a singe hand today
XXX: I buy-in couldn't,logged out but didn't get the money back to my account
XXX: that's the issue
XXX: the money is missed
XXX: but I wasn't able to play at these tables
XXX: when I close the client the tables should get closed to right?
XXX: but my money is unavaliable for me
XXX: I have like 150$ lost and I don't sit at any table at this point
Alvin M.: I understand that it is frustrating not able to play and you already bought in to the table.
Alvin M.: However, we can only refund if the problem is on our.
Alvin M.: If it is a problem on our end all the players will be affected not just one.
XXX: you don't understand, I didn't play a single hand lets say there was an issue on my side but I don't play at this tables, right. It is cash game notSitnGo
XXX: so I should be able to close the tables and money should be back in my account
XXX: but it wasn't
XXX: I bought-in into 3 tables didn't play a single hand and restarted bodog client
XXX: but the money is missed
XXX: but I don't sit at these tables anymore
XXX: so I don't understand why the money from the tables didn't go back to my account if I don't play there anymore
Alvin M.: Let me forward your concern to our Technical Team to look into this issue further.
Alvin M.: We will update you within 24 hours for the outcome of our investigation.

Cliffs:
Bought-in to 3 tables, couldn't. So I restarted the client (bodog.co.uk) 150$ were missed (and none of the tables opened when I restarted the client).
I play cash games so it was 3 tabels of nl50. So when I close the tables the money should automatically get back to me right?

Seriously it is the single most ******ed thing that happened to me at any room. Now I have to wait to get my money back. The buy-in issue occured for me for a long time so I have no idea how much bodog took from me to this point.

Now I have to wait hoping that they will have enough decency to give me my money back?? I mean WTF is this ****.
I bought-in ,couldn't but the money was taken from my account anyway , I coulddn't play a single hand at the 3 tables but hey from ******ed Alvin point of view it is my fault right??
Now I have 150$ missed with no idea how much I lost to this point due to this problem (and it has happened to me for some time)

BTW. I was able to play 1 tables (cause I had like 4 tables open) just couldn't buy-in to the 3 so restarted the client.

Get the money back however they wouldn't even notice on their end that there is some issue if I didn't inform them.
Bodog_ice please inform bodog/bovada about it so they would fix it asap cause now it is really risky to play on bodog if you don't know if there is some money missed every time you close the table...

I posted this a few weeks ago, but there's lag every night at 12:40am CST. This is the exact same kind of lag that was happening every hour at :17. I mean I'm glad they decided to do whatever they are doing once a day instead of every hour, but it's pretty annoying.

fix the chat...

add a send button..because currently the only way to chat is by pressing enter; often times causing the player to minraise on a separate table

Ice, any news from Bodog on fixing the top off/reload bugs that were brought up? Adding on them getting timed out 5 hands later because in unchecks the auto-post blind button is getting annoying.

FYP

Is there any plan to add an "auto top-up" setting/feature?

It's a bit of a peeve that if I rebuy before folding, the buy doesn't show up until the end of the entire hand. However, if I wait 'till after I fold to rebuy, it happens immediately.

It seems like if there are "connectivity issues" and I've already folded, that I am not allotted the whole 30 seconds to reconnect. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Something I've noticed since I've started playing 4-tables is that SOME tables have connection issues, while others are ticking along right beside them. What's up with that?

*********** Scheduled Maintenance Downtime Tonight!**********

Just so you guys know.. there will be site wide maintenance tonight. It is scheduled to be from 3am to 6am et. Sit n go's will stop spawning well before then and any tournaments that spill into that time slot will not run tonight. Please know that Bodog apologizes for any inconvenience. I will find out if there are any player facing chances coming from tonight's down time.

How about adding 5 card draw and 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball?

Noticed the speed buttons seem to do nothing when you click them....at least for the most part.

Really need to add some draw games!
